Started as a silly lil sketch of “what if” but then a whole story sprouted out of it. Unfortunately I had the strength to only draw the tiniest bit of that story.

For real tho the ending sequence of s2e3 is a lowkey masterpiece. The way the shots of Ed's purgatory are cut with Stede on the Revenge, Stede descending to sit vigil with Ed's body, the cool blue of the sea as Ed sinks through a shaft of light juxtaposed to the warm orange glow of Stede's lantern, the shot of Stede's shoes walking through water on the floor like he's just on the surface as Ed sinks further into the depths.

The way the light flickers in the room with Stede and Ed mirrored in the watery light that Ed is suspended in. Ed in blue and Stede in red/orange/yellow, cold versus the warmth that Ed craves out of life.

The way that Stede doesn't help Ed rise because that's not the point- the water wasn't killing Ed, sinking was, the weight of his self-hatred and belief in his unlovable nature was killing him, and that weight falls away when he realizes that Stede came back for him, Stede's waiting for him. Ed tied that stone around his own waist when he chose death ("you've already made your choice") and he reverses his decision when he realizes Stede is there. Stede is a being who can survive right there in the water with him, and they can rise together when they're ready.

I treat genji too much like a princess and designed his unmasked face to my liking. This must change (not must) (I really like designs where the mouth/lips are damaged) (this is still me babying him)

Recently someone on twitter was also (affectionately) roasting Ramattra's face and I was inspired.

(oughh pls note I have a severe case of Ramattra x Genji brainrot so even tho some drawings aren't 100% shippy, I hc they've gotten over the hostile stage and is now in a weird middle ground....... situationship..... hehehe)
