Maybe I’m thinking too much into this, but I don’t like that the synonym for heterosexual is “straight” and the word for gay / lesbian is “bent”. Bent is a common insult in the uk for gay people and I can’t help but think what it implies. Heterosexuals being called straight and gay people being bent implies we’re different, out of shape not on the “straight and narrow”. It’s another way to imply gay people aren’t normal, and we are! Homosexuality is a natural sexuality and there is nothing “bent” about us
