Questions about being otherkin/therian

I'm new to aIl of this and only recently heard of the terms therian and otherkin. I stumbled upon them after realizing I feel a really strong connection to the feeling of not wanting to be entirely human. Only problem is that there's not some specific creature(s) I really really resonate with. What's up with that? Also I don't really feel like I would be a completely nonmorphic creature but rather some mix between human and the creature. Is that normal?

Don't hate me for this but the closest thing I have found is Falin's chimera form from Dungeon Meshi, even though the form is super inconvenient for her in many ways and does not exist in real life.

Other animals that I feel a connection to is cats and maybe foxes...

So I have some questions that I wanted to ask some of you that have been part of the community for longer: - How did you figure out your theriotype or kin? - Was it difficult? - Is it normal to have multiple things you identify with? - Any advice for someone new to these things?
