Something people find hot or w/e in a fantasy or fiction DOES NOT translate into real life. Just like liking villain characters doesn't mean someone agrees or excuses their actions, people being into YB/Peter doesn't mean his behaviour shouldn't be seen as abysive or disgusting.
Fiction =/= Reality
Just a little reminder since we're on the subject...
(this was posted on my twt and I thought I should put it here too)
Stalking people and being ob/possessive as YB/Peter is (albeit his worst being through that route in-game) abusive and abnormal behavior. No, lovelies- being stalked irl is not fun!
Remember to space reality from fiction. I know we're all adults (because the game and it's fanbase content is for users 18+) but like... all I can say is that I don't wanna see a Slenderman-type case happening bc of YB and someone taking a look at our artwork and posts on loving this character trope and then acting upon it with a real person.
No thank you.
If you generally think that kind of behavior IRL is okay, you are one of the reasons (mainly) women carry pepper spray in their bags and are afraid to walk alone at night. And IRL doesn't just extend to in-person. You can stalk people digitally too, and that's not okay either.
Please remember to separate fantasy from reality. It's VERY important to keep everyone safe, especially within a fandom that has to do with such extreme matters in the name of "love".
Sorry for the long rant, but it think this was important to put it out there 😅

headcanon that shinsou and midoriya aren’t allowed to be on the same team during training exercises anymore because their strategy is 95% psychological warfare and aizawa is tired of them terrifying the rest of 1A
Oh and to the HomeWreckerAllMight:
Izuku either finds the Kamino bar, busts in and yells "OK I WANT ALL MIGHT DEAD BY MONDAY AND IF YOU DON'T HELP ME I'LL TAKE OVER THE LEAGUE AND DO IT MYSELF".
Or Izuku, Katsuki, and Shoto murder All Might themselves and kill Endeavor while at it. And Shiggi and Dabi are like "OK, who the fuck stole my kill? " meanwhile AFO whistles innocently knowing very well that who are The Murder Trio.
Ok but this would have had to take time to happen right?? So I bet people are wondering about what made Izuku completely flip his shit on All Might.
BNHA Abuse (Teachers)..
And the reason Izuku doesn’t trust authority
So I have finally made it!!!! The Aizawa/teacher bashing that I promised you all. I would just like to point out that I love all the teachers but they have some flaws that harm Izuku. I have made my dislike of Bakugou clear in a previous post but he is not the only person who hurts Izuku’s growth/feelings. I decided to make this post so I can show how the teacher neglect Izuku faced in his younger years is still strong.
Okay so we all know that everyone in school was against Izuku in his younger middle/elementary school years- which seems to include teachers since Bakugou has never gotten in trouble bullying Izuku. We are aware of Izuku’s philosophy in which he will try to solve every problem he comes across- even if it hurts him. This most definitely stems from him being bullied and no one doing anything to help him. To him he has to do something because nobody else will. The worst thing is that it’s been proven true before so he has nothing to back up the counter claim of “someone will do something”. The reason Izuku was chosen by All Might was because he tried to save Bakugou when no one else would. Bakugou, his bully, a person he should hold resentment towards. But he saw Bakugou go through the same pain he did and didn’t want him to die. Since no one was saving Bakugou, Izuku ended up making the first move.
I would like to claim that this heroic spirit Izuku has is because he was too used to being the only one he could rely on. He would stop Bakugou from bullying others. He would deal with Bakugou’s bullying to not worry his mother. He would deal with the teachers who encouraged Bakugou’s behavior. He told himself he could be a hero when no one else did. He wouldn’t kill himself so Bakugou could still get into UA. Izuku is used to bystanders doing nothing and relies on his own actions. So with his cultivated spirit of having to solve every problem, Bakugou almost dying definitely put it into high gear. But that aside, Izuku has had no support system he truly trusted since All Might.
Some might say his mom and I agree to an extent but the way he hid the bullying from her and how he never asked her if he could be a hero again since that time he was four says that he doesn’t think she would say yes. That’s uncertainty of her belief in him and I feel that it makes their relationship a little more unstable than it should be. My point is that when All Might said Izuku couldn’t be a hero, Izuku decided to change. That’s a ridiculous amount of trust to put into someone- even if they are the number one hero. Izuku was ready to give up on his dreams because of All Might, which even his supposed best friend could not do. Luckily All Might changed his mind and told Izuku he could become a hero, because otherwise Izuku would have chosen a different career. But you know why Izuku trusts All Might so much even disregarding his hero worship? All Might did step in to help Izuku. When the sludge villain attacked him he was saved by All Might and when he was trying to save Bakugou All Might came through in the end. This is probably the most Izuku has seen an adult actively step in on his behalf. His trust in All Might is unbreakable after that since All Might decided to train him and so their relationship only moves forward from there and they have time to cement their bond. This cannot be true at UA if only because of the lack of time and villain attacks. Aizawa would be a close second in terms of how much Izuku trusts him if it weren’t for the fact that he has done almost nothing to shield Izuku from Bakugou. All Might didn’t do enough during battle training and the finals arc was awful to their relationship (read my last post) but the trust in All Might is basically unbreakable at this point. Trust in other teachers is different. Izuku trusts Aizawa as a hero, but does he trust him as a teacher? I think he doesn’t. Maybe in Izuku’s point of view not believing a teacher would discipline Bakugou is his version of trust to a teacher. Midoriya never asks for help or complains when he is matched up with Bakugou because he believes that their relationship is his own problem and that an adult would never interfere. And he is right.
Every instigation instance Bakugou has made was obvious and full of malice and yet the most Aizawa or All Might have done is actively restrain him from doing damage or just giving a warning as they fail to protect Izuku (looking at you AM). Don’t teachers talk about current problems students are having when they are major such as a student having a vendetta? They should have both seen it sooner just how volatile their relationship was. The worst thing was that since they thought it was a simple rivalry Aizawa pushed Izuku into a worst place than where he was. Izuku literally got nothing from that final other than disappointment from his mentor and more abuse from his bully that teachers claimed was his fault. He learned nothing. His fighting didn’t improve. He didn’t gain any new important insight. In a final where you were supposed to get better Izuku got pushed down. Izuku is used to this and so doesn’t complain but any other normal teacher/student would know blaming a victim for a bad relationship is Wrong. Bakugou had attacked Izuku twice in the first two days of school and the second was literally deadly. He faced no consequences. He was only affirmed that he could get away with anything just like his old school. During their second one on one fight Izuku gets in trouble as well for defending himself even though Bakugou started the fight. This is clear favoritism towards Bakugou and a sign of negligence. It’s not hard to see how terrible their relationship is. Izuku literally shakes in Bakugou’s presence at the beginning of the year and has several nervous habits. For a teacher who was supposed to be known for expulsion Aizawa is disappointing in his lack of actual discipline. Mineta never gets told off for sexual harrassment. Bakugou gets away with nearly killing a student. Aizawa may be a hero but he still has some things to fix in the teacher department.
I know I painted All Might more favorably even though he also neglects Izuku by failing to notice just how bad their relationship is. I love Aizawa but he is the main teacher and All Might is more of a side so my teacher expectations were low for him in the first place. I think it’s because I know if All Might found out the true extent of what Bakugou did to Izuku he would clearly be on Izuku’s side. But would Aizawa? Based on the him being a good person/character thing I would normally say yes. But from how Aizawa has reacted before to Bakugou’s bullying I honestly don’t know. He might stay neutral instead of taking a side. And that simply won’t do. I need to believe a good teacher would firmly be on the victims side when all is said and done.
In conclusion to my long confusing rant Izuku still doesn’t trust authority to do what is right simply because he is not used to seeing adults keep children safe. This has not changed in UA and his only exception is All Might who lost his power recently and cannot get involved in a physical way any longer. To Izuku, when he finds villains/people to help his mind tells him that he needs to do something immediately or else no one else will. For him the cycle of teacher negligence is still going strong and in response he still disobeys authority.
This argument probably has lots of holes but please tell me them because this is already too long but I would like to talk about this more! Hope you all have a nice day!!!!

“Phantom Canyon” - ☾ complete. ☽
I just realized I never posted the finished mural! I’m not the best at this social media game...I finished the sky (constellations), fixed some issues, and completed the birch forest on the far left. Varnishing the whole thing took some elbow grease.
Anyway, super pissed off at all y’all who’ve been painting any casual, social relationship between minors and adults as “grooming” or “predatory,” as I try to point an 18-year-old on Twitter whose parents are attempting to force them into ABA therapy towards possible sources of help or support, and they say they have….zero safe adults in their life who are older than 18-20.
Folks. Unrelated, decent, older adults are a vital source of support and safety when someone’s family and school are unreliable or abusive.
There are different appropriate boundaries for friendships between kids and adults than between kids and other kids, but making kids believe that zero adults in their lives are safe to have as friends is not actually making them safer.
why do black people use you in the wrong context? such is "you ugly" instead of "you're ugly" I know u guys can differentiate, it's a nuisance
you a bitch

URGENT: The kororā/little blue penguins are in immediate danger at Waiheke Island!
It is suspected that these penguins are already declining in population in our waters due to overfishing, pollution and other factors. As well as that, these penguins have just finished moulting, and will be extremely vulnerable if they lose their homes!
Please check out Waiheke Bird Rescue on Facebook for ways to help, and please consider appealing to the Waiheke Councillor to stop this before it’s too late!!
