Being black online is truly truly scary. Racist weirdos share our spaces, compliment our sims, stories, cc and will at the end of the day go on anon and say the most vilest disgusting things. These people can be your biggest “supporters”, reblog all the anti racism posts and STILL go on anon calling you slurs.

An environment on simblr has been created where racists feel comfortable enough to say slurs and hatred to black people trying to find a safe space online that we feel comfortable in to express our selves. Many including I use simblr as an escape and safe space.

DO NOT TOLERATE THE INTOLERANT. Shut it down. Let people know. Unfollow/block. Don’t engage. Nonblack and often white simmers saying “it’s just a game stop complaining, there’s real issues like…” “why are black simmers always so fussed about [racism]” and other microaggressions. You tolerate this behaviour by allowing these accounts to make statements like this which build up over time and turn explicit. Seriously DO BETTER.
