I’m not too invested in the Love Triangle drama tbh. I used to ship Miguel x Tory and Robby x Sam for the sole reason that relationships aren’t supposed to be chaotic or messy or like star crossed lovers. They can also be people you connect with in your orbit. Plus they were adorable in the That’s My Girl sequence. But then the party happened and I wasn’t particularly attached to any ship.

Sam ghosted Robby in Juvie, and cheated on him with Miguel.

Robby was generally insecure and left Sam to deal with the aftermath of pushing Miguel off a stairway.

Sam didn’t actually do much with Miguel, but in his eyes she was treating him like a dirty little secret.

Miguel hit Sam.

Tory took things way too far because of her own insecurities and ended up indirectly putting Miguel in a coma.

Miguel knew full well that he wasn’t over Sam and still dates Tory knowing she’d always be second.

So really all of them have hurt one another in ways that can actually be forgiven, but it might just be better for everyone to take a break from dating each other for a bit.

So…I came across this on one of the Reddit threads. Is Schlossberg saying there’s a chance for Miguel & Tory to be together again? I don’t know whether he’s just teasing, but from the comments on the thread, some users were saying he’s teased here and there about other things that have come to fruition on the show.

I don’t know what you guys think, but I feel that the writers can’t keep using the love triangle/romance aspect to add fuel to the drama -there’s other ways to do it that doesn’t involve romance.  They’ve messed Sam and Miguel around so much especially in season 2 and I feel they need to leave them alone and let them be a couple and give them other arcs-like being mediators between Daniel’s Johnny’s constantly bickering and having Sam continue with her PTSD arc because there is no way you can resolve that in a space of a few episodes and also have more insight to how Miguel has been affected by the fall; this was something they didn’t do enough justice to in season 3. I was expecting a lot more anger from Miguel and the nightmares etc. 

   I don’t understand why Miguel would go back to Tory after all the rubbish she pulled at the school and at the Larusso house.  Maybe Schlossberg meant that they go back to being just friends? He might be the one to persuade her to leave Cobra Kai just like Sam might persuade Robbie to leave Cobra Kai.
