whenever someone says “where are the feminists???” In response to something horrible happening to women and girls in any part of the world, it shows that they either don’t actually listen to feminists at all or they think that feminists are a group like the avengers and we can just show up anywhere and beat the shit out of the people oppressing women and girls

as nice as that would be unfortunately that is not the case and saying “where are the feminists why aren’t they stopping this??” in response to men oppressing women is just another way to blame women for our own oppression

I'm so fucking tired of men pulling the "men acshually face more domestic and sexual violence than women but it's not visible in statistics because men are too ashamed to report it" card, I want all women to start uno reversing it on them when they complain about male issues.
