I finally sat down and drew the ✨Boys✨ again, i have no idea why these drawings took me 5 million years to make. Even with all that time im still not perfectly happy with how they turned out. I think i lost a bit of their Medicine Seller Essence~ if you guys get what i'm sayin. There are two versions on Kon because i felt like the markings i made up on the spot for him were a bit too much and i didnt know how to feel about themmm. If you guys likes them you should let me know!

IF the kusu's were foxes/kitsunes i very much believe that they would not really use their fox forms much if at all. I really think that they would distance themselves from fully being similar to the beings that they sought out to kill. Yes the mononoke are still different from them as they are spirits made off of negative emotion, but i think theres still a similarity between them that i think theyd want to keep a distance from.
That being said, Kon definitely uses his fox form more than Ri. Considering that we have seen small bits of evidence to suggest that he's more open about WHAT he is, he definitely uses his fox form when needed to complete his tasks.
Ri almost NEVER uses his fox forms. I can only imagine him using them to steal "reading material" from unsuspecting men because WHY NOT! I think the only kinda foxy trait he would show consistently would be his whiskers, to help him better sense things around him. And even then i think the only person whos ever been able to see that is kayo. Because i firmly believe they are besties.
