(At first I thought it was a trauma of Dj's when he was a kid, but I changed my mind)

Aracnoid have a irrational phobia to centipedes and their family. It was told by their history of an old animal that looked like centipedes in their planet, but way more dangerous and they used to be the Aracnoid predators. They where stright up animals, an lonely animal who would destroy Aracnoids villages or half cities. Since the destruction of Scorpia, Aracnoid natal planet, that animal was also extinct. But the fear of them still remains even to generations that will never live the atrocyties of their predator.

Edit here: Also thought that Dj when startled, he would be in his high legs like a horse for at least 1 or 2 minutes. And accidentaly look even bigger.
