There’s something I do that is nice that takes up 2 days (first one is prep and second is doing it). I call it spa day (even though it really starts at least the night before).

The first day is simple: make a to do list for the next day, and do my laundry.

The second day is doing the things on the list. What is on the list? Self care tasks. All of them. And also some extra chores that need to get done (to clear your mind so you can relax).

You eat good, you clean up, you take a shower or a nice soothing bath, you meditate, your brush ur teeth, make your bed, sleep at a good time (and really plan that one out), drink enough water, get enough exercise, and do anything you’ve been putting off that messes with your quality of life (maybe through it being uncomfortable or if the anxiety of needing to do it stops you)

I remember telling a friend that I was going to do a spa day and they asked if I was actually going to a spa. They were so confused when I said no lmao-

I hate it when people tell me that my old friends weren’t actually ever friends with me if they treated me so horribly at the end. They were my friends. They helped me when I felt sad, they were there for the fun times and they were funny and accepted me as they thought I was.

That only changed because I did. They used to be my friends. That’s why it hurts so much
