what is the color of your hairbrush? I have two hairbrushes actually! (For some reason almost every person doing these that I know has said that? Anyways, one of them is a metallic red, and the other is black with a sort of purple piping!

name a food you never eat? I am so picky, but for some reason I can’t think of any at the moment? I think eggplant haha, I never saw the appeal!

are you typically too warm or too cold? Too cold! Allllllways too cold!

what were you doing 45 minutes ago? Sitting on my phone scrolling haha, I always feel the need to de-charge after my flute lessons!

what’s your favorite candy bar? I guess...Twix? If we count fruity candies then pull and peel Twizzlers or that Nerds rope for sure!

have you ever been to a professional sports game? Nope!

what is the last thing you said out loud? "Bye!” I wanted to tell my teacher “Have a nice day” but then she ended the call haha

what is your favourite ice cream? I am slowly veering towards mint chocolate chip!

what was the last thing you had to drink? The last few dregs of the hot chocolate I made this morning! Very delicious!

do you like your wallet? Yes! It’s very old haha, I think I got it when I was seven, but it’s a very nice neutral color and it has a soft texture!

what is the last thing you ate? Dumplings, with this spicy Sichuan bean and beef paste that I ADORE, we got like three jars in the airport at Sichuan and I don’t know what I’m going to do once we run out

did you buy any new clothes last weekend? No, but I made some! I figured out how to finished up this bustier I’ve tried making, I definitely need to fix up the boning and add a decent zipper though!

what’s the last sporting event you watched? Uhhhhhh the 2018 Winter Olympics figure skating event?

what is your favorite flavor of popcorn? Regular buttered popcorn, but caramel isn’t bad!

who is the last person you sent a text message to? My flute teacher! She wanted to start the lesson early

ever go camping? I think I maybe did a very controlled camping thing when I was a girl scout once?

do you take vitamins? I usually do, but my multivitamins ran out this week!

do you regularly attend a place of worship? Nope

do you have a tan? I always like to think I do, but I don’t really think so!

do you prefer chinese or pizza? My nationalism is coming through, so Chinese! (If you have ever tried a Chinese beef noodle soup, and a spicy one at that, you understand why)

do you drink your soda through a straw? No, I open the tab like a tiny bit and then suck it through that! It makes the most obnoxious sound when I put it down and the aluminum pops back into place, but it is also practically spill-proof!

what color socks do you usually wear? White! Any other color feels too awkward for me haha

do you ever drive above the speed limit? ...I’m a virgin who can’t (legally) drive, so...no?

what terrifies you? Bugs, the dark, death, heights, the indifferent magnitude of the universe, public speaking, I could go on and on

look to your left, what do you see? My bedside desk and the lamp I bought when I was seven!

what chore do you hate most? Doing the dishes!

last book you read? Soooooo I may or may not have done some bookbinding over the summer and now @baratheonstarks ‘s Everybody Talks is my nightly read! Other than that? I believe it is “How to Write a Sentence and How to Read One” by Stanley Fish, it’s much better than it sounds and it gets better as it goes on!

favorite day of the week? Saturday! There’s such a freedom in between the two weekend days, Friday and Sunday (well, Friday afternoon)

can you say the alphabet backwards? Absolutely not, why is this a sobriety test? I only know the alphabet when I sing it!

how do you like your coffee? I don’t! I love the smell though, and the one time I did drink coffee I think it was a white mocha with caramel drizzle, light on the ice! (It was a summer camp group order that I remember months later because it tasted really good haha)

favorite pair of shoes? This pair of brown faux suede boots I have, the fabric is so soft and they make such a satisfying *clunk* when I walk, it bestows me with confidence!

time you normally get up? These days, around 7:30! But in the summer, I usually get up at like 8 but get out of bed at like 10 ish haha

what do you prefer, sunrise or sunsets? Sunsets!

how many blankets on your bed? One, apparently it’s a silk one that we got on our last visit to China and it is wonderfully warm

describe your kitchen plates? A mishmash of plates my parents have bought over the years, but my favorites are either the white ones with a little blue leaf trim thing towards the outer rim, or this little pink rose print one!

describe your kitchen at the moment? Average? It’s got a fancy black granite countertop but the stove is covered in aluminum foil haha, in that L-shape thing! (I just got a flashback to the time I tried to design a kitchen for CAD, I had no idea what I was doing and I gave the kitchen like a two foot crawl space haha)

do you have a favorite alcoholic drink? ...rum and coke without the rum?

do you play cards? Yep! Nothing like a predominantly Asian summer camp to teach you how to play Spit and Slapjack haha!

what color is your car? ...again, cannot drive, but my mom’s car is gray!

can you change a tire? Oh god no

your favorite state? California, it is so scenic

favorite job you’ve had? I’ve only had one job (and the pay was some sweet sweet volunteer hours and free lunch because I was still in training haha), soooooooo...technically it’s being a summer camp counselor! I won’t lie though, it actually was pretty nice, it’s a bit more fun when you’ve got a camaraderie with the other counselors!

currently watching: I think the last thing I saw was the first episode of Schitt’s Creek and then decided “nah” halfway in, but otherwise perhaps the Reputation Stadium Tour on Netflix?

consuming: Nothing at the moment, but some noodle soup soon!
