after the steven universe movie i really wanted to draw my “own” version of dnp’s fusion, i know a lot of people had already done this but i needed to do it

just thinking about how in troublemaker adrien was genuinely so excited to see maris bakery on a show he didn’t even care about. she mentioned that she told the class to watch the show that day but it doesn’t even seem like anyone other than adrien watched it since nobody seems to care about her photographs (although they probably already know how she feels about adrien so it wasn’t a surprise, or maybe i’m too used to actual public schools and expected her to get majorly made fun of for it) so i think it’s just so cute and heartwarming that when marinette told everyone adrien probably made a mental note to tune in.

like he probably was looking forward to watching the show later just bc it was related to marinette and he wanted to show his support. he never had friends before so he jumps at any opportunity to support them now that he has them and it’s just so sweet to me that maybe to everyone else it’s an insignificant little thing to just watch a show where she wasn’t even meant to appear on, but he took time out of his day to sit down and watch it w a giant smile on his face.

i just imagine him thinking “:) i’ll make sure to watch it later since it’s being filmed at marinettes :)” idk i just think it’s so sweet that he made such an effort to remember to watch the show. or maybe i’m just emotional today
