how do you think the members are when they’re falling in love

jungkook is hopeless; there's nothing he could do to stop it so he doesn't even try; just lays back with his arms and heart wide open wishing hoping praying that you'll catch him

taehyung is reckless; he's never liked someone so much and the fact that he does like, love, you so much makes him lose all sense; he'll defend you against anyone, do whatever you want, and give it all up for you

jimin is cautious; he's been burned before, a couple times before, so he can't help but pull back a little when he's with you; can't help that he takes one step back every time you take two steps forward; he just wants to make sure that when you hit the ground it's not a crash landing and that when you fall, you fall together

namjoon is gentle; he's clumsy and brutish by nature, yes, but when he meets you he automatically recognizes that you're precious; he's soft with you, diligent with you, and patient with you so that when you finally fall too it's on the cushion he made for you

hoseok is confused; it's not that he thought he was incapable of loving or being loved; it's just that he never saw you coming, never thought that he'd be here in this situation with you; but every time you smile, you laugh; every time he catches himself acting out of character, grinning at his phone, anxiously waiting for the next time he gets to be around you he thinks that he can't wait to figure it out together

yoongi is skeptical; his circle is small just like he likes so he can't quite understand why he keeps letting you in, why you seem to want to be let in; doesn't know if what he's feeling is real or fleeting; so he questions it all, overthinks the unnecessary details, when the answer is simple; it's everything about you

seokjin is slow; he doesn't fall, he floats; which can be frustrating when you find yourself so full of adoration and desire that you could burst, but you don't rush you let him take his time; and he appreciates that so much because it allows him to really soak up the scenery, the view, bask in it, in you, figure out how he really feels, how to love you properly, so when he finally touches the ground he's all in and all about you

Until a gentle pair of hands supported her waist, and a sigh tumbled from her lips.

“Are you okay?”

She looked at her soulmate, and the world stood tranquil as if fuzzy to anything but him. Her skin was tingling and filling her with a warmth she couldn't name but was thankful for, and at that moment, her thoughts stilled. She was overthinking things and making everything harder. There he was, supporting her again. Saying that he'd focus on nothing but her while she would selfishly decide everything against his wishes and complicate things. When he needed to be safe too.

She turned to look at him and her heart shook in its unbridled racing; when she wanted to stay by his side too.
