This has definitely been done before

Fic idea:

Sidon gets kidnapped by the Yiga Clan(because they heard him and Link are the gay((but they both Bi)) for each other), and Link has to go on a series of adventures filled with hijinks and shenanigans to get him back. When he does get to where the Yigas are keeping Sidon, one of two things can happen.

1: They immediately give Sidon to Link and force them to leave because they are so tired of Sidon talking their ears off about Link

OR

2(I prefer this one): A Yiga is disguised as Sidon, and with how much Sidon talks, has gotten his personality down really well, and Link has to ask a hyper specific question(the answer of which can have been mentioned at the beginning so Sidon has a reason to know it) and the Yiga will be confused while Sidon is like “Oh, I know!” and then Link kills the fake Sidon and picks the real one up, and then they go back to the domain

I may have accidentally headcanoned about Tiso to the point where I now think of him as like, just me but more chaotic

Instead of Herlock telling Iris she’s adopted, Iris would tell him he’s adopted, and isn’t her real dad.

Like one day she would sit him down and be like, “Hurley, I need to tell you something. You’re adopted. You’re not my real dad.”

And Herlock is just like- so surprised. He’s like, “WHAT!??!” and is being completely genuine.

I swear to GOD, Yona ships SidLink harder than anyone. She straight-up tells him that Sidon never shuts up about him.

Yona, grabbing Link by the shoulders: I am telling you this for a reason. Our marriage is arranged. We are best friends, not lovers. Please don't break up with him over this, I think he would simply pass away.

Okay, so y’know how in ToTK, Sidon has a Fiancé?

Well, as a Sidlink shipper and simp for the hot shark man, I have a little headcanon about the Zora to remedy Sidon’s canon relationship.

What if, when ascending to the Zora throne, a Zora must have a significant other to be a trusted confidant and unofficial advisor of sorts? This could mean that Sidon, if still single by the time his time has come, could have had an arranged marriage with Yona, but have been simply friends with her, and have been forced into it by rules.

Now, this wouldn’t apply to, say, Dorephan, since he was most likely already in a relationship pre-crowning, so he would just be assigned an official advisor for his rule and after she died.

So, with this extremely convoluted headcanon, I can use this to pretty much let Yona be chill with it, because she gets it, Sidon wants someone he really loves, and Sidon and Link can be together behind the scenes while still having Yona as Sidon’s technical “official” partner while Sidon and Link frolic in Hyrule field being in love.

Also, just saying, Bi-Sidon supremacy. He’s okay with pretending he’s into this chick romantically, but he’d rather be with the little gremlin of a Hylian that’s half his height.
