As they whirl harder and stronger around you, they lift you up in the air, whirling even harder than before. Now, imagine them turning to the rest of your house. Imagine them leaving a mess wherever they touch. All of your notebooks are in the air, your tarot cards are flying everywhere, your clothes go all around the place, your crystals fly from one wall to another. Astrological Birthstones: Minerals, Metals, Shells, and Related Materials

Introduction

Correspondences and rulerships are important to consider for anyone interested in astrology, stones, and/or practices such as witchcraft. Everything has astrological associations, meaning that everything is influenced by the heavens or at least shares energy with corresponding signs, heavenly bodies, elements, and sometimes even houses.

This list is divided into four categories, and everything is alphabetized within those sections:

I. General Stones: These are overarching rulerships which may influence one’s use of gemstones.

II. General Colors: These are the rulerships of colors, which may be applied to the use of colored stones, metals, etc.

III. Metals: This assists in determining what metals one may use in jewelry with selected minerals or shells, or other matters, as this is a list of metals in an elementary sense, though the list does not include all metal elements. These rulerships can also be applied when it comes to aura quartz.

IV. Shells and Others: Types of shells and similar materials typically lumped in with gemstones.

V. Minerals and Others: All gemstones listed alphabetically, along with a few other objects (bones, for one).
