vesper is looking around, thinking the female was indeed talking to someone else but when he sees it’s just him around, he’s just as confused now. he shifts his eyes, leaning towards the female just a bit before he’s closing the book he had been skimming, mumbling to himself and perhaps that’s what got her thinking he was talking to her.

given the context, one would expect at least a smile to be present as she ushered those words under her breath. but. being a little behind on how to work in a ( human ) social environment, yon isn’t quite sure how to express satire comments in an appropriate manner, resorting to almost everything that comes out of her dumb mouth to seem like an extremely serious topic. the emotionless expression that comforted her face 24/7 doesn’t help her out in any way shape or form either.

( daewon to mika !! ) - daewon wasn't necessarily one to make friends, not since his past time in college. he found out quickly that humans were fickle, possessive, greedy - and he was weak to just about all of it. still, there was this unusual sense of ease that sat in his gut being around her, maybe it was their rather similar areas of work, and whatever unspoken secrets that floated in the air. he felt comfortable asking her, ' there's this new place i want to eat at, are you interested? '
mika carries a warm & welcoming aura with her. so the sense of ease is not an uncommon feat when it comes to the tiny brunette. as insane as she is, making friends is as easy as 1 2 3 for miss song. her gaze shifts up from her phone, optics immediately brightening at the thought of potential food. soon follows her lips- curving up at the corners, lifting her expression entirely. a content nod as she points toward daewon.
