Hi, may I request Hugh Jackman x fem!reader were she's an interviewer and while she is interviewing Hugh and Ryan, Ryan notices how Hugh looks at the reader then says something about so Hugh ends up asking her out during the interview. (P.s- can there be a snippet after the fic or a part 2 were the reader and Hugh are getting married and Ryan is invited so during the reception he tells the story of how he played "matchmaker"?)

Warnings: Fluff Fluff Fluff!!!💗💗💗 reader is in her 30's in this fic and I decided to change Hugh's age a little as well and make him 50 (btw please tell me if there are any actual warnings because I'm delulu)

Hugh groaned as he opened his eyes to the blaring alarm in his ears. He reluctantly sat up to turn off his alarm. After he did so he yawned and stretched his muscles trying to get his sleep fogged brain to remember why he had to get up so early.

Then after a few minutes of struggling he realized he had interview with Ryan today about his new movie Deadpool & Wolverine.

He finally got up and started to get ready he took a shower, got dressed into nice clothes, and brushed his teeth and hair and when he was finally done he grabbed some breakfast (ngl I nearly put the australian term Brekkie) for the road.

As he got in the car he decide to call Ryan and talk on the drive there since it was an hour drive. As he was talking to Ryan he asked, "Hey do you know what we will be doing in today's interview?"

He honestly could never remember if it was a normal interview or something more like playing a game or something other than questions. Ryan replied, "It's supposed to be like a normal interview the interviewer is a woman this time Y/n l/n is her name or so i have been told."

that is a beautiful name he thought as he drove. Once he got there crew members were getting the shot ready. So he meet up with Ryan in the mean time who was talking the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.

Ryan looked up from his conversation with you and saw Hugh and eagerly waved him over. Hugh started walking as you turned to look at him you gave him a beaming smile that made your stunning e/c sparkle.

As he made his way over he couldn't help but be awe struck. Once he reached you both you stuck your hand out excitedly and introduced yourself "Hi I'm Y/n it is such an honer to meet you!"

He shook your hand with such gentleness it made your heart flutter you blushed at what he responded with "The honer is all mine, darling."

Ryan saw a look in Hugh's eyes as he stared at you and his smile turned mischievous "Y/n here was just telling me a bit about herself." Ryan told Hugh with a smirk.

"Really like what?" He asked you "He was just asking about my age and where I'm from stuff like that." you replied with a gentle voice Ryan added saying " she said that she is in her late 30's and is from (where ever you were raised)."

you smiled at them both as Hugh was about to respond one of the crew members came up to tell you it was time to start the interview. They get set up and soon the cameras start rolling.

"Hi welcome I'm Y/n l/n and today I will be interviewing Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds about their new movie Deadpool and Wolverine." You said with a enthusiastic voice. "Alright let's get started!" You continued before asking your first question.

"Okay so my first question is for Ryan what made you become a fan of Deadpool?" Ryan started laughing quietly "This is a funny story actually I found a Deadpool comic once and inside he described himself as looking like 'Ryan Reynolds crossed with Shar-Pei'."

Hugh added on "Oh yeah i remember you telling me that!" he chuckled "That is such a funny fact but I can defienitly see the Shar-Pei in him" you giggled a little and Hugh couldn't help but stare at you with love eyes.

Ryan noticed this and needed to say something before the interview was over as the interview continued with all sorts of fun such as jokes, laughter, and maybe a little flirting along with Hugh looking at you with a love sick face

“You know you two would be a really cute couple.” Ryan said randomly after one of the questions about his relationship with Blake “Really.” You say shocked. “Yea I mean you have good chemistry and man oh man you both look like lost puppy’s in love with the looks you are giving each other.”

Hugh laughed nervously but gained the confidence to ask you out "I have to agree with him on the last you are the most beautiful woman I have ever met and I would love to get to know you would you like to go to dinner with me tonight?" He said with so much hope in his eyes that this beautiful woman in front of him would say yes

"I would love to." You replied with an excited laugh "Finally, I thought I was gonna explode with how much sexual tension is happening here." Ryan added with a mischievous smile and glint in his eyes as he looked at the two people in front of him as they both turned into a blushing mess.

When the interview ended Hugh pulled you aside "Is dinner at 8:00 tonight good?" he asked with a gentle smile that made you week in the knees “It's perfect." you said with a giggle "Great I'll pick you up then." he winked at you as he left.

3 months later

you and Hugh have been thing ever since your wonderful dinner date after the interview and life couldn't be better except for Ryan’s constant bragging about bringing you together but you really couldn’t be more thankful for him for if he didn’t give you that little push who knows if you would have ever went on that date. You both have already fallen for each other fast and hard and you can't wait for the beautiful memories ahead.

I know its not great I'm still getting used to writing fanfics but I hope it lives up to your expectations

there will be a part two I loved this Idea so much please tell me if you would like to see there date and I will make that a bonus one 😉

Heyyy. Ok really cheesy but I’d like to request a Logan x reader friends to lovers where it’s like an accidental confession. Maybe someone makes fun of the reader and Logan without thinking about it just starts yelling and defending why the reader is great and everything he loves about her? while on library duty, Logan overhears two girls talking shit about you... and corrects it quickly.

CW: sorry i went in a little different direction, suggestive, profanity, takes place during the timeline of the og X-Men, these girls are bitches, etc.

"I just don't get what's the big deal about her," Maya scoffed, resting her cheek in her palm as she thoughtlessly flipped through her biology textbook.

Talia nodded, glancing up from her notes with an excitement that screamed nothing to do.

"No, seriously," she agreed. "Like we get it... you can grow shit. Big deal."

That piqued Logan's interest.

With Jean and Scott off on a date, the professor away, and you and Ororo teaching a joint class, he was slapped with library duty—watching the kids during their scheduled study period.

Now, originally, he planned on simply plopping himself down in a corner and puffing his cigar, hoping to fall asleep and just ride out his sentence.

And he was halfway there, too.

But just as he was about to catch some Zs, his hearing picked up on a conversation between two older girls who seemed to be trash talking his girlfriend.

"Word," Maya turned the next page, a grimace settling on her face when she noticed the image of a flower.

One you were very vocal about liking.

"She won't shut up about these stupid lotus flowers either... Hey! Did you guys know that the lotus is considered sacred in many Eastern cultures? And it often symbolizes purity, beauty, and rebirth!"

Talia let out an obnoxious snicker, the impression not nearly as funny as what she was making it to be.

But maybe she just hated you that much...

"You sound just like her," she commended, very much amused. "Only she's always smiling. Like I've never seen her frown before... it's almost creepy."

"Seriously creepy. But Peter can't get enough of it... you know he has a crush on her, right?"

"Seriously?!"

Logan let out a quiet chuckle, tickled by the news.

He'd caught the boy staring at you during a few Danger Room sessions, but didn't think much of it, assuming he'd just caught him while he happened to be looking in your direction.

Oh, how wrong he was...

He couldn't wait to tell you later tonight.

"Mhmm. Half the boys at school nearly fall over themselves to make sure they're not late to her class... It's almost funny."

"Funny, my ass. Why'd it have to be Peter?" Talia huffed, tossing her pencil at the textbook in frustration. "She's not even that pretty. I've had dogs that look better than her."

Maya attempted to muffle a snicker, but Logan heard it loud and clear, his brows furrowing at the horrible comment.

"I'm serious. She puts up this whole nice and innocent act, but I bet she's a raging bitch behind closed doors."

That was it.

All the stuff before was just normal, teenage jealousy; something he'd—albeit reluctantly—let slide.

But calling you out of your name?

Insulting your character?

Comparing you to a dog?

A line had to be drawn.

"Tali, you can't say that," Maya chuckled, glancing around to make sure no one was listening.

"Like I care," she scoffed, rolling her eyes. "I'd tell it to her face if I ever got the chance. Just walk right up to her and say—"

"Say what?"

The girls nearly jumped out their skin, whipping around, only to be met by Logan's arched brow, the man leaning up against a bookshelf as he puffed on his cigar.

They were at a loss for words, unable to say anything under his imposing presence.

"Don't get shy now," he goaded, crossing his arms over his chest. "Go on. Tell me what you're gonna say to Dr. (l/n)."

The two were practically frozen, frantically glancing at each other for assistance, Logan's eyes flicking between the two expectantly.

"Nothing?" he hummed. "That's funny... 'cause you both seemed to have plenty of shit to say earlier."

Both their faces fell almost instantly, the color practically draining from Talia.

"You heard that?" Maya squeaked, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Every word," Logan nodded. "And what I managed to gather from it was that you both just can't stand her because she's kind, passionate, pretty, and beloved."

He listed each trait off on his fingers, glancing at the two for confirmation.

"How's that? Am I in the ballpark?"

They remained silent, hanging their heads in embarrassment as Logan's confrontation had garnered the attention of the whole library.

"Well, then, how's this..." he pulled the cigar out his mouth. "I'll let you both off this time with a warning... but if I catch either of you trash talkin' anybody again, teacher or student, you're grounded."

"'Til when?" Talia asked, nervously.

"'Til I tell you you're not."

The end of day bell punctuated his statement, a flourish of shutting books and closing pencil cases muffling the girls' sighs of relief.

"Now get outta here."

He had never seen two students pack up so fast.

They were gone in T-minus ten, and once the library was cleared out, Logan allowed himself to sit down, letting out his own sigh.

He could've tore into them infinitely worse—and he honestly wanted to for that dog comment—but he figured that was the right, and legal, amount for a teacher.

But even still...

'I dunno how a girl who can only float two inches off the ground is talkin' about (n/n) havin' a shitty power...'

You were sitting on the stage with your husband and two of your best friends during an interview and as you were all answering questions about the movie the interviewer asked Ryan about his family and kids and he starts talking about a time you and Hugh went over

“I walked into the house to find these two watching the greatest showman with my kids acting out the scenes and I looked at my girls and I was just thinking you have no idea how lucky you are and they aren’t going to appreciate that in like years from now because they only know them as uncle Hugh and aunty y/n” he replied with a laugh.

You couldn’t help the big smile on your face at the mention of Ryan’s girls. You and Blake had been friends before they had even got together and it was so sweet seeing that love blossom.

You shared glances with Hugh as the interviewer turned towards you. “do you ever babysit the young girls?” He asked you.

“yes actually it is one of my favorite things to do they are such sweet kids it reminds me of when ours were that age and I just get all excited every time I get to see them maybe more than them sometimes”. you said with a light hearted laugh.

Ryan decides to add on to that. “I wouldn’t be too sure sometimes I think they like you more than me!” You all laugh.

the interview goes on with more questions about the movie and ask Shawn some more along with the rest of you but one question really stuck

“Now I have been saving this one for last but I think we all want to know this so, Hugh, what has it been like being married to y/n for 24 years now?”

He looks at you with the softest expression and smile and says. “I don’t think I have ever been more thankful to be married to such a beautiful, kind hearted, strong, loyal, and sensible woman it has been the best years of my life and I wouldn’t give them up for anything the memories and moments we have shared are indescribable I love her with all my heart and I will continue to love her till I die and even when my heart gives out I don’t think I will stop even then” he continues to stare at you with such softness the tears in your eyes start to fall.

your eyes share a promise that as soon as the interview is done you are going to kiss him till you physically can’t. You raise your conjoined hands to you lips and kiss his hand.

“Wow that was beautiful.” The interviewer was in awe at how beautiful your relationship was.

even Ryan and Shawn had tears in their eyes because they have gotten to hear about how much he loves you so many times before.

After you said good bye and got off the stage you dragged Hugh to a private area away from private eyes and brought him into a searing kiss

“I love you so much I don’t know how my heart can physically take it!” You told once you pulled away resting your forehead on his. He smiled and replied “I love you to darling” he pulled you into one more kiss and you melted feeling him smile into it.
