If before it was clear that the codes and the federation were working together, this more than confirms it. So the code got cellbit's enigma sword,and the Federation led cellbit there , and then that same code appears and kills or seriously injures Walter Bobby( Who was disobeying the federation) and shortly after kidnaps Pac (who was breaking federation rules)and he appears in the hands of the federation. Also that same code took etoiles to the shield which is very suspicious, but etoiles got the shield, so what was it's intention?

Etoiles thinks the code was waiting outside the nether to get the shild back, but that doesn't make sense to me, they were already losing to etoiles before, why did they think they would beat him when Etoiles had the only counter to their sword?

I believe it is possible that at the moment there are two types of code the old and a new one that is controlled by the federation. But it's also possible that the old code against the federation no longer exists, or the codes have always been on the same side of the federation.
