I just received my first block on tumblr for leaving a comment on someone’s post disagreeing with them on an issue in a calm, respectful manner (I felt), but what I noticed was that the poster blocked any comments where users actually engaged with their claims and left up the ones that were straight trolling/insulting the poster and/or other commenters.
