-You’ve tried everything. Putting it in the wash so Kaito would cuddle you for a while, nope, he just waits for the pillow. Wearing the comfiest clothes you could to entice him into your arms, nope, he just lays on the pillow. Sitting directly on his lap... only works for five minutes.

-He always goes back to that damn pillow, and sometimes you swear you see a teasing smirk on his face like he knows your efforts

-Seriously, it doesn’t even look that comfortable! What kinda crescent shaped pillow could be easy to cuddle with?!

-You try cuddling with it while Kaito is out of the house just to see what all the fuss is about.

-When Kaito comes back and sees you cuddling with his pillow he gets the biggest grin on his face

-You feel a weight behind you and his arms wrap around your middle, his nose nuzzling into your neck

-He just laughs and holds you tighter.

The fact that you're so cute and sweet causes some kind of reaction in Maki where she has to protect you.

She acts like she's cool with you doing whatever, but should someone come up and suggest something stupid then she is immediately glaring at them and pulling you back.

Honestly, seeing you able to handle yourself when someone is being extra annoying causes her to take a sigh of relief. Yeah, you were scary but she's glad that she doesn't have to worry so much. Plot twist: She still does.

Maki prefers you being cute and sweet so she can be the scary one while you continue to have a good day.

If you want to be scary to mess with someone, go ahead, but she's more than happy to handle any one should you want to relax instead.
