I wish we could see somethings about Jacin remembering Cinder bc even Winter remembers her and Jacin was the oldest but we dont see his pov of recognize Selene the first time or when he learned that shes Selene and him remembering their memories at the time

I have been thinking about this for years. This boy is so shut off from his emotions that he never addresses the fact that he knew her. But I really think Selene's death was his first indicator that the crown will kill whoever, whenever. It informed his actions thereafter, and I know that every time he protected Winter he knew that even a princess isn't safe, and he knows that because of Selene.

I expect him to randomly bring up a story from when the three of them were kids, something funny Selene had done. Cinder short-circuits because she thinks of that 3-year-old as someone else, not her. But then Jacin will mention how Selene was stubborn--just like Cinder, hating having her hair brushed--just like Cinder, used to figure those baby block games easily, because--just like Cinder--she was mathematically-minded. And all these things help Cinder to conflate Selene with herself.
