22: a french kiss/kiss with tongue ...

          they  hadn’t  officially  been  together  for  very  long,  but  their  relationship  seemed  to  move  at  bullet  speed.  if  mike  had  to  guess  why  that  was—if  he  let  himself  slow  down  long  enough  to  fully  piece  it  together—he’d  chock  it  up  to  the  fact  that  they’d  been  in  each  other’s  lives  since  they  were  five;  they’d  been  best  friends  for  the  majority  of  their  lives—a  DECADE.  and  mike  would  give  anything  to  be  able  to  go  back  and  change  how  long  it  took  for  him  to  get  his  head  out  of  his  ass.  he  and  will  could’ve  been  doing  this  way  sooner—could’ve  been  an  actual  couple  for  longer.

          but,  he  supposed  that  it  was  better  late  than  never,  with  full  intentions  to  try  to  make  up  for  lost  time.  for  as  long  as  it  took,  he  wasn’t  hearing  any  complaining  from  will’s  side  of  things.  that  was  truly  all  that  mattered  to  him,  anyway.

          though,  he  also  supposed  that  it  was  hard  to  do  any  complaining  at  all  when  the  two  spent  most  of  their  time  tucked  away  in  isolated  places  and  corners,  hands  all  over  each  other  as  they  kissed  to  their  hearts’  content.  it  was  like  a  drug,  and  mike  wasn’t  too  proud  to  admit  that  he  was…rather  addicted.

          what  started  off  as  shy  pecks  and  soft,  lingering  kisses,  had  rather  quickly  turned  into  firmer,  more  heated  and  longing  kisses.  and  it  was  unlike  anything  that  mike  had  ever  experienced.  his  kisses  with  el  had  been  something  he thought  were  okay,  but  they  were  nothing  compared  to  the  spark  he  felt  when  will’s  lips  were  on  his.

          even  now,  having  licked  into  will’s  mouth,  brain  somehow  simultaneously  turned  to  mush  while  also  buzzing  with  life,  mike  could  feel  the  same  spark  he  always  felt  every  other  time  he’d  kissed  will.  though,  somehow  it  was  also…different  and  mike  found  himself  questioning  why  they  hadn’t  been  kissing  like  this  sooner.

          it  was  so  easy  to  get  lost  in  it,  to  the  point  that  what  was  supposed  to  have  been  a  quick  kiss  goodnight  had  turned  into  a  minutes-long  makeout  session  on  the  byers’  front  porch,  and  mike  was  perfectly  content  in  procrastinating  his  departure  for  as  long  as  he  could.

          it  wasn’t  until  joyce’s  voice  from  inside  could  be  heard,  jarring  the  two  out  of  their  hazy-minded  kissing, that they  abruptly  pulled  apart.  mike  took  an  extra  step  back,  just  to  be  safe,  and  reluctantly  broke  the  silence.

          “ i’ll  see  you  tomorrow,  right ?  at  lovers’  lake ? ”

          when  will  agreed,  mike  smiled  an  all  too  sappy  smile  that  he  would’ve  kicked  himself  for  had  he  been  able  to  see  his  reflection,  murmuring  out,  “ cool…  well—goodnight,  will… ”  and  with  great  reluctance,  he  turned  to  step  off  of  the  porch  and  back  to  his  bike.

5: a firm kiss ...

          the  honeymoon  had  been  good—time  well-spent  for  the  two  of  them.  now,  came  time  for  reality  to  settle  back  in  and  tk  juggled  his  emotions  between  not  being  ready  to  go  back  to  work  ( and  considering  playing  hooky )  and  being  prepared  to  throw  himself  back  into  the  action.  on  the  one  hand,  he  didn’t  want  to  leave  his  husband  ( he  didn’t  think  he’d  ever  get  tired  of  referring  to  carlos  in  such  a  way )  but  on  the  other,  he’d  started  to  miss  the  thrill  of  saving  lives.

          ultimately,  work  won  out—especially  when  he  saw  carlos  step  into  their  bedroom,  already  in  his  uniform.  tk  took  a  moment  to  drink  him  in—appreciating  how  good  he  looked  in  that  uniform—before  beckoning  him  over.

          once  carlos  was  close  enough,  tk  reached  for  a  fistful  of  his  shirt,  partially  pulling  him  down  on  the  bed  to  press  his  lips  to  carlos’  firmly.  pulling  away  after  a  few  moments,  he  kept  his  face  close  to  carlos’  as  he  murmured,  “ try  not  to  miss  me  too  much… ”

henry says HAPPY BIRTHDAY alex claremont-diaz, the love of his life and the best thing that's ever happened to him, the best, kindest, most admirable person he's ever known. he better be prepared to be endlessly spoiled today even more than he usually is by his devoted housewife of a husband bc he deserves that and so much more, may they spend all of their birthdays together until the end of time, deeply loving each other and being the happiest they've ever been for all of forever ❤️❤️❤️

and if alex grabs him and kisses him and drags him off into the bedroom to celebrate said birthday, what then ???

ok, so- i'm gonna go through my stuff and start responding to stuff that i've been holding onto the longest and respond to it. i'll post some stuff immediately, but other stuff will be queued so i don't spam the dash! i'm gonna do my best to get stuff done on here tho!
