ok gonna play some sims for a bit and then i'll be here lol

sorry for the silence over here! i spent 7hrs in the ER yesterday (nothing bad to report, no worries!) and my body is sore lol. i’ll try to get some writing done today, but i think my writing time is going to be even more scarce than usual bc my coworker quit the other day and i’m gonna have to pick up his slack until we hire someone new.

          despite  it  being  early  spring,  the  tail end  of  winter  still  lingered  in  the  weather.  sophie  wasn’t  a  fan  of  it;  she  never  had  been.  sure,  spring  happened  to  be  her  favorite  season  ( with  it  having  nothing  at  all  to  do  with  her  birthday  being  in  march )  but  she  preferred  the  warmer  days  of  spring.  it  might  not  have  reached  that  point  quite  yet,  but  she  supposed  she  at  least  had  something  to  look  forward  to.

          though,  upon  hearing  beth’s  beckoning,  sophie  supposed  that  the  cold  weather  wasn’t  all  bad…

          with  a  bashful  smile  she  stepped  closer,  slotting  herself  against  beth’s  side  and  resting  her  head  against  her  shoulder.

          “ did  you  have  a  busy  night  tonight ? ”  she  could  only  imagine  how  busy  things  at  the  bar  had  gotten.  when  she’d  stepped  in  at  a  quarter  to  two,  there  had  still  been  a  handful  of  people  lingering  around,  waiting  til  the  last  possible  second  to  leave.  “ maybe  i  should  quit  my  job  and  come  work  for  you  full  time… ”

          she  was  jokingly…mostly.
