Even though I adore people who write Sebastian X Reader stuff, I just always envision he would have the hardest time confessing to actually romantically loving someone, like just saying he cares about them platonically seems like a stretch to me because of the whole “he’s a demon who’s not supposed to care about anyone” thing (aside from Agni).

I’ve just always thought that it would be a huge struggle for him because it would mean he would have to admit to fEeLiNg ThInGs like a HuMaN and I just find it funny because I can see him maybe having a friend (other than Agni) and he would rather die than admit he’s actually friends with someone and that he cares about them. I don’t really know how to phrase it but I feel like their relationship would be like this:

Y/N: You care about me, right Sebastian?

Sebastian: *in his head* You are my best friend, I think I actually love you like I would love a family member and you’ve proven that even demons can feel affection towards others. I adore you

Sebastian: *out loud* What the fuck gave you that idea?

Sebastian: Stupid ass bitch

Like Sebastian is the type that would take a bullet for his best friend but he would never in a million years admit he cared about them
