Do you think the demon brothers are a very dysfunctional family?

Definitely.

They've grown a lot and their relationships with each other are much healthier than they were in S1 but they still come off as a pretty dysfunctional family

But that obviously doesn't mean that they don't love each other to death and back. They're just a little fucked up

A large part of why they're fucked up is probably due to trauma from their Rebellion and Fall because as angels, despite having more or less the same personalities, they seemed a lot less hostile towards each other

Because of the Fall, and because of Lilith's death, I also see them as being a lot more codependent than the average family (the fact that they're a found family created from the Celestial Realm's 'oddballs' probably adds to this too)

Despite all of this there are loads of moments where they come off as just typical siblings and it's amazing to see

One of my favourite parts of OM! is how realistic their sibling dynamics can be and how realistic the dialogue (quips they use towards each other) is

So yeah, they're dysfunctional and not in the "every family is a little bit dysfunctional" way. They're just genuinely dysfunctional but they're growing and getting better. They may never be a "normal" "healthy" family but they've always loved each other and they're getting better at actually showing that
