The villain groaned as they were awoken from their slumber, the light of their phone brightening up the room. They reached over towards the nightstand, grumbling, and then squinted as they looked down at the tiny screen.

Someone was calling them.

Villain heaved out a sigh and answered. “If this is an ad, I’m finding your address and then gutting you-”

“V-Villain!” - the hero’s voice called from the other end of the line, the distress in their voice making the criminal snap to attention and sit up.

“Hero?” - the villain asked incredulously. How the hell had their nemesis gotten their number? “How-”

“P-Please, I need help!” - Hero begged in a frantic whisper, peaking the other’s interest.

“Oh? My help?” - Villain leaned back against the headboard, a grin beginning to appear on their face. “What do I-”

“I’ll owe you three favors!” - the hero promised in a panic, unknowingly making their nemesis’s eyes blow wide.

“Three-?!”

“Just please, open up a portal near me so I can get out of here!”

“Ah- Where are you?” - the criminal said in a now equally hurried tone. Their question was swiftly followed by a ping from their phone.

“I sent you coordinates!” - Hero said. “Now, please, help. Please, pleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleaseplease- WOAH-!”

The hero cried out in surprise as a portal suddenly opened up directly below them and sent them flying through and into the villain’s bedroom. The portal quickly closed behind them before anything could follow after them.

Villain now stood above them with their arms crossed and a raised eyebrow, clearly demanding an explanation. Hero gulped. Here goes nothing.

I always wonder if OC projects his lost brother on Lizzy sometimes (like he reaching out to her in BoA vs. the twins reaching out to eachother in cult memory, 2 similar scenes) hence leveling his protectiveness... RC likes and acknowledges Lizzy as his future wife but he's a HUGE brocon. Liz could have feelings for both of them (just too confused to accept) but whatever, if there's ever a love triangle she's more like the 3rd wheel... The twins are always too focused on eachother, even now.

So I’m definitely lacking sleep, but I have the hardest trime trying to figure out what you mean Anon. xD To give you my opinion about the dynamic between the twins and Lizzie, at this point…

1) I don’t think our!Ciel projects his brother onto Lizzie though he does regret being a bit left out as a child from their dynamic because of his illness. 

Also, he lost his parents and brother, so surely he feels entitled to protect her, especially before knowing that she can take care of herself.

2) I don’t think real!Ciel cares about Lizzie that much, but he definitely is obsessed with his little brother.

3) Lizzie is actually very conflicted because the boy she’s in love with (our!Ciel) is not the twin she is betrothed to and believed was by her side for these last 4 years (real!Ciel). 

4) I don’t think we can really talk about a love triangle considering that Lizzie is canonically the most important person to our!Ciel…

…while she was starting to fall in love with him and the twin has been dead for years and is now a brother-obsessed zombie. If it is, then real!Ciel is the 3rd wheel. xD

5) I don’t think the twins are too focused on each other. Sure, real!Ciel is obsessed but…

…our!Ciel just wants his life back. Turns out that, even driven by guilt, you can’t pretend forever to be someone you’re not.

Mc, pointing at Diavolo: immensely powerful and rich ruler of Demons,

Mc, pointing at Simeon: the nicest, most polite guy around who also can write a successful book series

Mc, pointing at Solomon: and the idiot who could accidentally poison you with boiled water.

Mc: At least that checks out
