Leo and Valerie were worried. Eleanor had been out all day and she still hadn’t returned home. There was news of violent protests in town and it did make them wonder…
But their worries were confirmed when Daphne decided to tell her parents exactly where Eleanor was. She justified that they deserved to know - Eleanor was putting herself at risk, and though she may think she was worldly and intelligent she really was a sheltered girl.
Eleanor traipsed home late that night to be met by her furious parents. The arguments started immediately - the lectures, the chiding over her safety, telling her she was becoming a hippy. It was all too much for Eleanor to take.
‘You are such SQUARES!’ she yelled at them. ‘You don’t understand how much of a problem you are - this life you live is all a fabricated capitalist lie! You just let the world burn around you so you can keep having your stupid parties and wearing your fancy clothes and pretend you aren’t part of the problem!’
Eleanor turned from her parents as they yelled after her and ran. She grabbed her bag, left the house and made her way downtown. She would hitch tonight and get out of this place. She knew there was one person in this family who wouldn’t try to control her or tell her she was wrong…

just a small moment where annie and nervous reunite with each other… in ts2 psp game annie was supposedly nervous´ girlfriend. in my personal hc she dated the hidden nervous in ts2, not knowing he was a clone,. so when she reunites with the real nervous she is heartbroken noticing he doesn´t even remember her.
The girls were home from school for the Christmas holiday. Their parents hadn't seen them in ages - in fact it struck them how much eachother had changed in the time that had passed.
All of the Dreyfus family had come to Leo and Valerie's home for Christmas that year. It was a wonderful reunion for them all to be together again. Desi and Trudy came with their 3 children - they were still as loved up as when they were teenagers. Pearl and Buddy were there - Pearl proudly telling anyone who would listen how accomplished her handsome now-adult son was. And Violet was there too, accompanied by her good friend Melissa, whom she had been so excited for her family to meet.
They all sat around the table for dinner, but it was noted that one person was missing from the table - their little sister Stella, who nobody had heard much from in many years.
'It's a shame she isn't here,' sighed Desi. 'We've tried to get her to come visit us, but she never returns my calls. I hear she's living down the coast in Sulani now.'
One thing that Leo noticed at the table was how close all his siblings still were with each other - especially his twin sisters. It made him glad that they were all here, but also sad - why didn't his own children like each other the way he loved his siblings?
'How is it that you two tolerate each other still and are so close?' he asked Viole and Pearl.
'I guess just luck!' said Violet. 'You can't force these things, Leo. Your girls will come around one day. Being a teenager is a hard time. We were very different people then, too.'
Whilst the adults reconnected, their children bonded. Daphne and her cousin Beth got along fabulously, pouring over fashion magazines with little Cindy trying to join in with them. Beth was like the cool older sister Daphne wished she had.
Meanwhile, Eleanor had snuck outside with her cousin Jeff to sneakily smoke cigarettes. Jeff was cool - he was a bit weird like her, and they got along well.
Soon their older cousin Buddy discovered them - Eleanor thought he would tell them off, but Buddy didn't care and sat down to smoke with them. Buddy was going to college soon, and he knew a lot about the world - and all the crazy things that were happening around them. Things that Eleanor had no idea about - it made her realise how sheltered and lucky she was, especially when Buddy told her about the war overseas.

i’m sure everyone who has get together is somewhat familiar with the club system and the general basis of how it works but trust me when i tell you it is the most underrated part of ts4. i get a lot of asks about how i pull off certain aspects of my gameplay and 9/10 it’s clubs so here’s a (not so) small guide to help out!

Hi, if it's not too much to ask, would you expand a little on what kinds of things help to create "an environment that isn’t actively hostile for creators?" Genuine question, I'm new to the scene and not aware of all the considerations.
There are definitely a few things the community can do to not be actively hostile towards creators. There are also things creators can do too (this is a 2 way street). I may not experience some of these now, but when I was starting out some were common, and also what creator friends have experienced in the past. I would say i am also quite observant so this is just things I have noticed while being a creator all these years. There are probably more things that can be done, but this is what i can think of right now. I will put it under a read more because i am chatty LOL
Don't expect content from creators. We are people too and have a life outside of the sims community (for example, if people have been following me they know what I have been going through but not everyone is as open with their struggles). Asking, and in some cases demanding more content from people is ignoring them as a person.
Suggestions are great, but don't be pushy about it. Your taste may not align with that of the creator you messaged, and hearing a no is not an invitation to message them again asking the exact same thing. Imagine multiple people doing this and it ruins requests and suggestions for everyone else.
Show appreciation. This is incredibly important for newer creators as they may just feel like they aren't good enough. Don't just click on that download link, click a like, comment and share that post if you love it. If you are able to support that's great too, but only if you have the willingness and means of doing so.
Be polite. You are talking to another human being, treat others like you want to be treated. This goes for creators too.
Actively sharing content around right after release can be quite disheartening. Yes, i get it, it's in early access and people are going to do it regardless because they believe "early access sucks". But this is also dehumanising a person and the effort they put into content. This will chip away at a person over time and is quite careless. You may be 'helping' one group, but screwing over another.
Don't actively use free creators against early access creators to prove a point. I get it, you hate early access, but don't use me or others to push an agenda. Everyone's situation is unique and they may not be able to do it freely. It's also not cool to pit people against each other, we are all in this together.
Support free creators and early access alike. Just because it's free that doesn't mean you shouldn't support the creator. Able to donate? See if they have a donate page or patreon. Unable? That's ok too. Leave kind messages, reblog and like the posts, even just clicking the little heart on the SFS link is nice. Next time you download from there, just check the discrepancy between downloads and the likes and you will see how underappreciated creators can be.
If you think a creator is being shady, don't support that behaviour. That is rewarding them for it, then others will just think they can get away with it as well. Don't let FOMO run your life. Sometimes it's just better to walk away.
Creators need to take a bit more of a hands-off approach to their content. If you want to actively limit the spread of your content to the point you are collecting people's information and sending out trackers to figure out who is sharing your content, maybe it's you with the problem and not the community. When you make content for the Sims you are accepting the ToU and that means your content can be freely shared. If you don't like this, maybe you are creating for the wrong game. I know from personal experience that it is hard to let go of that feeling, but don't embrace it.
User's shouldn't vehemently enforce Maxis' ToU themselves. Yes, it is there and should be followed but this is not the crusades. Use is as a guide to tell the good from the bad, but don't force it down the throats of others like you are some missionary trying to 'civilise the savages.' You are only going to look like a self righteous asshole.
Creators, you aren't entitled to people's money. It should be at their leisure and not forced. If you paywall stuff you really need to take a long hard look at yourself. Users really shouldn't encourage this either.
I think that's about it, or stuff i can think of now. Honestly, this does go in general for the community as a whole too. In short, Don't be an asshole and treat others how you want to bee treated. We all love this game so find some common ground and don't be dicks.

Back to the basics -OR- how much clutter can I fit into one small room?
Most of the clutter in this kit was requested by you people out there. Thus, you need slots to put the clutter somewhere, right? This set's got you covered. Be it the electric toothbrush, the exotic soaps or the curlers: it will have a spot. Slot. You know what I mean. The kit's files are named "Bathroom Essentials" or BE for short, so you know what belongs together and what not. If you want to search for them look for the icon or type " LxN ". Some of these have extra instructions in their object description. If nothing is written down, just try messing with the assets. The toilet paper rolls are stackable, and yes, you can build an entire castle out of it.
