Arthur loves making a fuss over you. He’s done it from the day he met you. At first it was just flattering to have his attention, but he was persistent to pursue, and so you fell for his charms.

The doting never stopped.

In the early days it consisted of compliments and flattery. Taking you to see some beautiful sights. Doing your favourite things with you.

Then he would buy you presents. Books he heard you mention. Flowers on occasion. Clothes he thought would suit you.

Flowers then became daily. Mostly delivered to you himself, but should he be otherwise occupied, he would have them sent to you with a note. A note that consisted of more compliments and flattery. You always smiled because you knew his words came from the heart.

Arthur then began to make you meals. Dinner to begin with. Breakfast after you moved in with him. 

He kisses you on the cheek at the start of everyday, and before he goes to sleep. It’s like a ritual. Not doing so would consist of a bad day, and he hated how guilty he felt if he ever missed a kiss.

The fuss never stopped.

Arthur Harrow + reader with allergies:

*Maybe you thought nothing could happen if you had your meds, maybe you noticed too late the evil ingredient in your food. Anyways, when you felt the first symptoms you ran back to your place, and Arthur, who's always taking care of everyone, noticed this.

*He asks if everything's fine, but meds aren't a magical solution and he sees some red patches on your flesh (or some swollen fingers, that's very usual). You feel a little silly explaining to him about your allergy because the last thing you want to do is bothering to the community. But hey, this is a health issue, and Arthur takes it very seriously.

*If this isn't a food allergy and is more a season one (like those who get sick with the pollen and stuff), Arthur always has a package of tissues in his pocket ready for you, because nobody knows when a sneeze attack is waiting around the corner.

*Anyways, he has a thing for you when you're in the middle of a crisis. It's not that he likes to see you sick, not at all, but there's something in your weeping eyes and redenned nose (and the fact that your sneezes sounds like a kitten's) that makes him a little weak on the knees.

*If you have rhinitis or hay fever, he's always remembering you to vent your bedroom and being careful with dusty places. He also helps you to get rid off the dust and clean stuff that may trigger your disease.

*But sometimes, things can get serious. Suddenly you begin to struggle for breathing, and he knows about your condition. Anyways, someone needs to be calmed to keep you calmed too, and he takes the lead, asking to the doctors of the community to help you, never leaving your side and assuring you everything's going to be okay.

Wait, he did take the bus!
