Synopsis: Upon seeing you pining after Bang Chan, Minho takes the matters into his own hands. It’s simultaneously the best and worst decision he has ever made.

“You know, I’m sure just you staring at him from afar makes the whole difference,” Minho pointed out with a sarcastic roll of his eyes. He stole a fry off of Jeongin’s plate as though he couldn’t feel your glare on him.

You weren’t entirely sure why he was sitting at the same table as you anyway. You certainly hadn’t invited him and his snarky attitude.

“Let her be,” Hyunjin meekly defended, as though he was only doing it out of duty rather than his actual loyalty for you. “She’s in love. She can’t help it.”

95 line when their friend peels a shrimp for you.

this is based on the shrimp peeling/perilla leaf discourse.

seungcheol: when he notices his friend peeling a shrimp and dropping it onto your plate as if it was nothing, his eyes grow wide. he lets out a loud scoff then looks at his friend. “why are you trying to steal my job, do you think i’m not capable of peeling a shrimp?” his friend panics then tries to defend himself, “i figured since i’m already peeling them i might as well just do it for all of us. no need to get all of our hands dirty.” seungcheol picks up his chopsticks then reaches for the shrimp on your plate to place it back onto his friend's. “you can have this back, if y/n wants them i can peel them.” he ends up sulking for the rest of the meal and you end up being the one peeling shrimps for him instead.

jeonghan: a chuckle escapes him when he sees you eyeing the shrimp sitting on your plate, unsure if you should give it back to his friend or not. don't get him wrong, he finds nothing about this situation funny but he thinks it's laughable that his friend thinks he would be okay with something like this. he quickly switches his own empty plate with yours. looking at his friend in his eyes, he plops the shrimp into his mouth before saying, “thanks for peeling the shrimp for me.” he then turns to you to tell you not to just accept food from anyone else and then he's filling your plate up with food.

joshua: before his friend even has the chance to place the peeled shrimp on your plate, joshua is immediately intercepting. he quickly places a hand on your arm to get your attention. “do you want shrimps? i can peel them for you. how many do you want?” his friend is now munching on the shrimp, finding himself in a slightly awkward position. you tell joshua you're fine and you can peel them yourself but he insists and suddenly there's 10 shrimps on your plate and joshua’s plate is filled with shells.
