okay, i was thinking about this throughout the episode until a little bit about the end of it ( add zenji to that ) but did we learn that the other houses had/have a feud against frostheim since last year ? of course, tohma was needling haku when he mentioned hotarubi as "our home" which is confirmed that haku, in fact, was from frostheim and "switched sides", besides when the news of jin's mother's condition was leaked, haku had a small appearance as well as yuri and jiro, and that's where yuri comes into the story and I think about his dislike for jin and vice versa. my theory is that at a certain point yuri operated on jin's mother ( yuri literally took jiro out of a coma, so it wouldn't be surprising if jin turned to him, plus mortkranken has frostheim as financial support ) and something must have given wrong leading to the death ( or not? ) of jin's mother, hence his hatred for mortkranken ( i don't think that yuri could be from frostheim or any relative of jin... he is a guy with a brilliant intellect so i don't imagine that his aspirations come after changing houses or maybe because of their status, but i'm still analyzing it. 🤔🤔 )

in fact, both are related to the past of the kamurai, and theories aside in that whole game of trust between haku and mc ? what if this trust was also portrayed between him and jin initially ? and if it's not rui, who does haku want to help, but jin ?

So we know that Yuri’s mom died, or a motherly figure to him died. And we know that Jin’s mom is either dead or in critical condition ,,

We know Jin had a friend that betrayed him. It’s not Haku. We know that Jin hates Mortkraken, and Yuri hates Frostheim.

There’s a theory that Yuri and Jin were friends and that Yuri is the one who betrayed him. Maybe childhood friends of some sort. Maybe Yuri was so close to Jin’s family that he considered Jin’s mom his own.

I have to fact check / look back as to why there are two different hospitals on campus / off campus. I know there is a reason for it besides this second theory, but what if the main reason is because Jin hated Mortkraken so much he funded another hospital just so he wouldn’t have to deal with them. Or maybe it was to deal with the critical state of his mom.
