Sebek looked as if he wanted to say something but was holding himself back in fear of his grandfather reprimanding him again.

Grim pulled at your clothes but accepted your portion of the food anyways after you patted him on the head.

You had been skipping your meals.

But how can you eat like this?

Malleus had overblotted and put everyone to sleep.

Silver was constantly stressed no matter how much he tried to hide it.

Sebek was hurt by the words his grandfather had spoken.

Grim was the same though you knew he worries about you.

And then there was Lilia, well, General Lilia that is. He was different from the man you loved and yet you can see the familiarity in actions and emotions he would display.

So can anyone blame you for the lack of appetite?

"You have not been eating."

You were startled.

You looked up to see General Lilia looking down on you.

You gave him small smile, of course he would notice. Your Lilia always did notice when your appetite changed. Sometimes to your horror, he thought it would help to cook for you.

"I'm not hungry."

You watched in surprise as he sat down next to you. You watched as he dug around in his pocket before offering something to you. You took it from him and opened up the item.

To your surprise, it was an assortment of items: nuts, berries, dried meats, and more.

"Humans are weaker than Fae, it will do you no good to go without food for so long."

You couldn't help it. You smiled a real smile in what felt like years and thanked him.

The General’s eyes widened slightly at the look on your face before turning away.

You turned to your meal and started snacking.

You missed the look of fondness and confusion in his eyes. You missed the way his fingers seemed to twitch as if he wanted stroke your hair or hold your hand.

But what you didn’t miss, was the way he leaned forward to block the wind so you wouldn’t get cold from it.

You didn’t miss the slight smile on his lips after you finished eating.

And you knew, someway, somehow, everything would be alright.

More comfort headcanons:

“Malleus please, I have to go. I missed enough days as it is and Grim is probably making our collective grades worse.”

All you got in response was a huff.

Malleus had decided to stop you from going to NRC. He still believes you weren’t well enough to return. And instead of acting like a rational House Warden of Diasomnia, he had decided to turn himself into a dragon and curl around your Ramshackle Dorm.

Lilia had laughed his head off. Silver had simply shook his head at the situation. Sebek had spouted how wonderful and majestic Malleus looked.

Of course, this meant none of them were helpful and all your exits were blocked.

“I don’t even feel sick anymore!”

A snort.

“Okay fine, I had a headache earlier. I swear I’m better now!”

The dragon in front of you peaked an eye at you before closing it and settling himself in.

What else can you do but accept defeat?

“Fine, fine. You win, at least come inside and cuddle with me.”

You heard a happy growl in response as you returned to your room to take another day of needed rest.

You couldn’t help the smile on your face. You love that overly dramatic dragon of yours.

Imagine you were actually transported to the past. After dealing with all the shenanigans of time traveling and people who don’t believe you. You finally get them to trust you and you form relationships with these figures from the past.

You get to know Malleus’ parents. You get to meet Malleus’ grandmother before the burdens of history left its effects on her.

You met Baul Zigvolt, and of course, you could tell where Sebek got his interesting qualities from.

Then there’s General Lilia, he was the same from the version you met in Lilia’s dreams, if not a bit more arrogant.

All the same, you met and eventually befriended them. Knowing in time, you will eventually return to your own but at least you’ll have these precious memories with you that you can share.

Imagine one day, you are walking down the castle’s halls with General Lilia. Recounting some events from your time, nothing that would change history of course.

You lovingly recall your loved ones’ faces and how they’ll react when you share your adventures with them. You don’t notice the face General Lilia is making.

You’re smiling fondly to yourself when you were suddenly pulled to a stop.

A hand had grabbed yours.

It was Lilia who had stopped you, not yours exactly at least not yet, but someone who will eventually be yours. The frustrated look on his face surprised you.

“Can’t I also become yours?”

Oh.

The look that you gave him then had his eyes widening, and for an instance he understood what his future self saw in you. Why he fell in love with you.

“You have always been mine as I have always been yours.”

You watched as the Lilia in front of you simply raised your hand and kissed the finger where your ring sat.

The ring that designated that you were truly and always will be his.

A future that he could look forward to.

You laughed as the General rolled his eyes.

just imagine, silver, the sleepy bodyguard of malleus draconia who always sleeps wherever he goes, either he's standing, sitting, handstanding, anything.

trust me, during the first day it happened, when silver woke up -- he was surprised too, but didn't seem to mind as he gets to wake up at the sight of you beneath him.

he surprisingly doesn't fall on you whenever he's about to sleep again when he just woke up and saw he's doing, as if his body controls itself and it just doesn't want to stop fucking you !!

as much as silver wanted to talk to lilia about it, he doubt it would be much of help. he should probably just enjoy the feeling of you underneath him as you moan out his name.

you won't be safe as well if you're asleep during it too, because he can just use his unique magic.

Imagine Malleus somehow drinks a potion and gets turned into a little dragon.

This little dragon ends up flying around and spots you.

Swooping around you in circles and you are shocked, eventually it calms down and floats in front of you.

You don’t realize it’s Malleus because there’s no way his guards would let something happen to him.

(Though knowing Lilia, he would pull harmless pranks just for giggles.)

You end up taking the tiny dragon with you.

He cuddles in your arms and licks your face, and you end up laughing and rubbing foreheads with him.

Grim is not exactly happy to see your new companion when you get back home but it’s okay, he’ll get over it eventually.

Wherever you go, your dragon is always with you. He’s warm and loves to cuddle your lap as you read a book or do your homework.

He floats around helping you in the kitchen, getting items for you that are out of your reach.

(You think Grim might be jealous of the attention your dragon receives, but changes his tune when you give him extra cans of tuna)

You end up going to bed, all three of you on one bed.

Nice and cozy and warm.

You gave Grim a kiss on his head between the ears.

And you pulled your dragon close to you and kissed him on the forehead, thinking of how his scales reminded you of Malleus. Your dragon purred and nuzzled into you, stretching his wings and trying to cover you and provide warmth.

It was truly a nice relaxing day.

…until you woke up the next morning with a naked Malleus Draconia next to you and Grim complaining about how the bed is too tiny for Tsunotaro, while you tried not to scream or look at certain places.

(You can already hear the lecture Sebek will shout, Silver will be exasperated and fond, and Lilia will teasingly mention how you now had to marry Malleus Draconia to preserve his honor.)
