Its been a while since last VnC art, but I have something I’ll hopefully finish soon! I really like how this sketch turned out, so here is a promise of a future work✨
This is based on my personal perception of Faustina and Luna and their relation. For example, I think that Faustina could play an important role in Paracelsus’s research, maybe even as a scientist (because you know… Faust…… who was an alchemist?? So why not her???).
The book in front of her is the Book of Vanitas – just a little headcanon that Charlatan and Faustina technically could possess the book at some point before it ended up in Moreau’s lab. Pls note that this not stated anywhere in canon, I’m just having fun with whatever bits of lore we have at this point 😅 Plus it made a nice connection with the image of Luna in the mirror.
About Luna — my current theory is that Luna is a homunculus (who also appears in “Faust”). Maybe I’ll elaborate on that later…
