I live in Hawaii, where the summer doesn't end until around January. Every time it drops below 80 is a treat, and below 70 is a reason to celebrate.

I swear I’ve got like reverse seasonal depression or whatever because I get really happy when it’s cold out and the snow starts coming in. This is where I’m supposed to be

You have to squint so hard your eyes close, then squint so hard they open back up again in another dimension, but yeah, I can see it.

This is the same reason I like Battletech. Yeah, Battlemechs are the focus, but infantry, tanks, and aircraft all still exist and are extremely important to warfare. Battlemechs are able to take a hit like little else can, but if you want the most efficient means of carrying firepower to a target that's gonna be a tank, not a battlemech.

Like I know a lot of Gundam shows usually only ever depict mobile suits fighting with maybe the occasional fleet action but in the original MSG they weren’t the end all be all to warfare (yet). They’re closer to how tanks were during the First World War, a brand new weapon system that was largely invincible because counter measures didn’t exist yet.

Bartleby's Lumpkin has some serious bangers, though. I particularly love "Scungus Bundle" and "Leezard Speen."

I love that shittysawtraps post that’s going around rn like “you can make a character playlist for any character but you can’t use Mother Mother or Lemon Demon” and then every reblog is like “and for a REAL challenge, don’t use any of THESE wildly popular artists, either” and then proceeds to list twenty artists I’ve never heard of in my life

As someone who has played both but now only plays Magic... yeah, that's about right. Unless the Magic card in question is from Strixhaven, in which case I hope you don't mind reading a novel between the card and all of its possible interactions before starting to glimpse how it might be used.

the difference between yugioh and magic the gathering (as someone who plays neither) is that a yugioh card says like "if you own a Blorbionicus the King of Red Eyes in your pendulum summon zone (but NOT your left pendulum summon zone) you can special summon (NOT ritual or zexal or pendulum summon) sixteen cards named Blorbimini (excluding Maid Blorbimini) to any zone EXCEPT the super double defense zone" and no one can explain this to me but meanwhile a magic the gathering card says "flying. after the end of your turn draw a card" and people are like oh those fools bc the action only goes on the stack after the end of your turn and because of the use of 'your' instead of 'the owner's' and because mercury is in gatorade, technically it only resolves during the opponents third upkeep when explicitly you cant draw cards or else a sniper will shoot you
