Hello there, I was wondering if you could probably write headcanon for Wilbur with a singer!reader? I imagine there's going to be some creepy musical vibes with him. And my inner musical enthusiast is digging it

Wilbur would always listen to you.

It was an understatement to say you were his comfort singer.

Wilbur loved the way your voice weaved into the strums for the guitar.

And the way your voice bounced with the beat of the drums.

Or how your voice danced along the piano keys.

Your genre was limitless.

You seemed to waver between an alternative pop and a calm Lofi feel.

It suited your voice so well.

There would be days that Wilbur would dream of being in your band.

Being alongside you.

Being the one to write lyrics with you.

Being the one to sing with you.

Just...being with you.

He wanted nothing more than to be the one you called for when you returned home.

Now, Wilbur wouldn't call himself a stalker, but he didn't keep up with you on any form of social media.

Wilbur tried his best to attend at least one of your concerts a year.

But deep down, he thought you would never notice him.

I mean, he was just some Minecraft Streamer that had made some songs.

But little did he know, you knew very well of his existence.

You notice every time when you posted Wilbur was one of the firsts to like and/or comment.

You noticed that his name would pop up a lot on your music videos and he would always attend at least one of your concerts.

How could you not notice him?

He was almost always in the front row, singing along to every word to one of your songs.

You had mixed feelings about this.

On one hand, you loved his dedication and support. It made you smile to know you make someone's day like that.

But on the other hand, you were slightly creeped out.

I mean, does this dude do anything else? You appreciate the support, but the thought of him getting too close scared you.

Little did you know, your up and coming show would be the last one with your original band.

You heard me…

Wilbur somehow would find his way backstage and then to your dressing room.

So during intermission, you had made your way backstage, and ended up being face to face with none other than Wilbur.

He had been hiding behind the door waiting for you.

Now you were pressed up against the door with Wilbur up against you and his hand over your mouth.

He had been rambling on about how much he had been wanting to meet you.

All you did was place a fake and scared smile while nodding slowly.

Wilbur noticed your smile and frowned.

"Why...why aren't you happy to see me? I've done so much for you. I...I'm one of your biggest supporters! I see you make eye contact with me at your concerts!"

He was careful to yell in a quiet voice, so as to not alert anyone.

But his tone was the thing that scared you.

"Listen (Name),...I know this is probably terrifying for you...and..and you don't wanna get hurt.yeah?"

You nod.

"Well..I won't hurt you. Don't worry. But I do want to join you...I want to be yours and you to be mine..what do you think? You can live with me. A-and... it'll be great.."

He says and continues to tell you all about what it'll be like living with him.

And how much he'll love you.

Wilbur will continue to go on rants about how much he loves you.

That is until intermission ends.

You two had come to the agreement that you'll move in with him, otherwise your band mates might have to suffer.

Living with Wilbur will be a whole nother hell.

He was controlling and wanted to be by your side constantly.

You couldn't even leave the house without him.

You want to go shower?

He's outside the bathroom humming to himself and waiting for you to get done.

He expects you to do the same when he is showering.

He's the one that does all the cooking, cleaning, and work.

He wants you to be completely dependent on him.

The only time you have free time away from him is when you are writing your songs, or are sleeping.

Even then he'll sneak himself into your bed and hold you for a while.

But don't think you're safe just yet.

Wilbur said he wouldn't hurt YOU.

That doesn't mean everyone else is suddenly safe.

Wilbur won't be afraid to get his hands dirty.

Nor is he afraid to threaten your loved ones.

He will gladly kill if that means putting you back in your place.

In short: It would be best to keep a better eye on Wilbur before he makes his move...

Y'all ever just hanging out with your best friend, your individual IQs are pretty high.

Okay, this is a bit of a change of topic from that, but what do you think first got you into yanderes? For me I’d say it was a mix of Giffany as well as, unfortunately, Yandere Simulator, although by now I have done my research and know that it isn’t the best example of Japanese culture. But either way, it lead me to finding other yandere fics on my own, and eventually finding you

Um yandere simulator as well ...and (god I have to go back years.) It's kinda sad, but what really latched me onto it was a shitty mental health and fairy tail fanfiction. Idk why I liked it so much.

But Now I mainly just read it because I'm super interested in psychology and I love to see people's different interpretations of characters and everything. And I just think it's kind of a fun thing to read/write about.

Oh yeah, they’re fun to read and write about, well from my small knowledge of writing about them, but in reality? You would never want one. There’s a reason why yanderes are mainly antagonists if they appear in shows (although the two I know best are Yuno Gasai from Future Diary and Giffany from Gravity Falls), and taking a deeper look into even the fluffiest of yandere fics with show it’s not a situation you’d want to be in. But, even so, it’s nice to read about them, just as long as you know the difference between fiction and reality

Yes I definitely agree with this, it is important to know the fine line between reality and fiction. That's why I usually urge people to start out light with the yandere stuff. Cause some of it can really fuck with you.

So let's play out how you would even try to escape.

And no, the bathroom is not an option.

Counting that both of you are the same gender, he'll follow you straight into that bathroom.

But, there is another area where you can have some breathing space.

Where is that Madden?

Well, simple, a dressing room.

"But Madden, there are no windows in the dressing room."

Yeah, but there are other people and staff.

Let's say you go to a clothing store, and you wanna try on some clothing.

Wilbur will try to go in with you, but the staff in front of the dressing room won't let him.

Wilbur won't be very happy about this, but he does want to cause a scene.

So, you go into the dressing room, but not to try on your clothes.

I say find a person, anyone and ask them if they can ask the staff member to come in.

That you need some help.

It's likely that person will do that for you.

So now is your time.

Kidnapping is not a joke.

So pick your starting statement with the staff member to be shocking, but believable.

But there is also the likely chance that the staff member won't fully believe you.

That's okay, don't give up hope.

Because this statement of yours will likely cause the staff member to contact security to keep watch on you two.

But if this isn't the option there is always the option of just running.

But this won't end up well for you.

Wilbur will likely play it off to people as that you have a mental issues.

Or something like that.

Now, let's get to the part you were waiting for.

Punishment.

It doesn't matter how you try to escape, it won't work.

The world doesn't seem to work in your favor dear reader.

Wilbur will drag your sorry ass home.

He won't say a single word.

That's probably the scariest part about it.

He thinks that there is no need to say anything.

You already know what you did wrong.

Why do you need to be yelled at?

But don't think that you are safe.

When you get home, he'll take you by your wrist and throw you onto the ground.

He doesn't care if it hurts.

You hurt him.

Wilbur won't beat... well too much.

The most he'll do is slap.

Then he'll take you by the back of the neck and take your room, and throw you inside.

He'll then lock you inside and leave you in there...for a long time.

The first couple of days you won't have any food or water. But after the second day, you can have water.

No food.

You're not allowed food until the fifth day.

Even then it's only about 5 crackers.

Expect to be left in that room for 2-3 weeks.

It doesn't even matter if you cry or beg to be let out.

Or even if you say you're sorry.

He doesn't care.

You hurt him.

He genuinely thought that you were behaving and loving him.

But you just had to rip that away from him.

Wilbur will continue his days with your cries and pleads just being background noise.

Shit, he'll probably just stay in his own room for a while.

Yeah, you hurt him that much.

But if he's not in his room, he's on his computer just playing mindless games, or watching YouTube.

Sometimes he'll stand outside your room, undetected.

And just listen to you.

By the time he lets you out, you'll be perfectly silent.

And when he lets you out, you'll want nothing more than to hug this man.

You had been alone for that long, it almost drove you insane.

This punishment is one that will stick with you.

It'll teach you not to fuck around like that again.

"Will you behave now, my love?"

In short: it's just best not to try and escape. Unless you have a thing for more trauma.
