I don't like when people tell me 'Bless You' when I sneeze, because I always worry I might burst into flames.

This is a manipulative abuse tactic called Leveling. In which the abusive individual equates their behavior to that of their victim.

A common form of Leveling is claiming that calling out abuse is the same or as bad as being abusive. This is exactly what Musk is doing here by equating the calling out of bigotry with bigotry.
