✨RAFE AND SOFIA SHOWER THOUGHTS✨ : The old Rafe is clearly still in there who gets in his head due to insecurity and paranoia. In the backyard scene between them, Rafe begins to spiral, like he has in previous seasons. Notable mentions being when he has trouble with his bike helmet clasp talking to himself, the knife situation with Rose and him whispering to himself on the balcony in season three. He beings to go off the rails sitting on the chair next to her in this scene, ’’They think I’m stupid, I know they talk about me, whispering’’ and Sofia is such an anchor here. She notices that he is getting insecure and upset, and she cracks a joke to snap him back. And it works, he cracks a small smile and you can see his confidence returning, ’’They’ll see how Cameron's do business’’.
