And I wish I could describe it better, but even the vocals sound foreign in such an awesome way! 💀💀 I'm not musically inclined. I don't know how to describe the cool things I heard in that song!!! It's like her voice was swinging not per word but per syllable.

Aaaah 💀 Okay the best way I can visually describe this is by imagining a body of still water, it's a completely flat surface. And her voice was like gentle waves in a body of water. That's it. That's the best my brain could come up with.

You swallowed and winced at the pain that came with it. You had taken simple things, such as breathing through both of your nostrils, for granted, but now you missed this feeling greatly.

You raised a hand up to your forehead and felt your temperature. You felt really warm, but then again, your hand was tucked away beneath the covers, so it was pretty hot itself.

You sighed, irritated that you couldn't even breathe properly, as the door to your bedroom opened slowly and quietly. "I'm awake."

At your words, Tauxolouve stopped walking on his tippy toes in order to not ruin your sleep. "How are you feeling?" He asked softly, coming to sit at your bedside.

"Same as before." You said and smiled, when his cool hand touched your forehead. "Your hand... It feels nice. It's quite cool."

"I was doing the dishes, so I guess they're still pretty cold." He chuckled and your eyes widened.

"You were doing the dishes?!" You asked, the guilt stinging you a little. "But that's my responsibility!" You tried to reason with him, but your hoarse voice didn't help you much.

"I get what you're saying, but right now you're sick and I promised to take care of you." Tauxolouve's cold hand slid down to your cheek and you closed your eyes, enjoying the refreshing feeling.

"I'm sorry for the trouble." You spoke gently and with a frail voice.

"I like taking care of you." Tauxolouve's fingers touched yours and you immediately reached out to hold his hand, giving it a squeeze, which he returned. "I like knowing you can rely on me and that I get to spoil you, my little lady."

"But how come you didn't just snap your fingers? Wouldn't that be faster?" You asked, tracing the lines of his palm with your fingertips in the meantime.

"It's more fulfilling to do stuff for you with my own two hands." His words were coated in his love for you, as he spoke. He got up from the bed and came to bend over you, pressing his lips to your forehead into a kiss that made your heart race. He hummed. "You still have a fever. Let me get you some medicine."

"Lou...!" You called out to him, just before he could exist the room.

"Yes, my little lady?"

Gods couldn't get sick, so it wouldn't be a problem if... "Can we watch a movie together?"

Tauxolouve's lips formed a sweet smile, the cupid's bow on his upper lip appearing so kissable right now, it took everything in you not to leap out of the bed and jump into his arms, kissing him over and over again. "Of course we can. Pick a movie, while I go fetch you some medicine."
