This Is A Book Cover Design I Created For My Disney Book Cover Project For Our Graphic Design Level 2

This is a book cover design I created for my Disney book cover project for our Graphic Design Level 2 college course. We got to choose a Disney movie of our choice to design a book cover for. I chose brave, because Merida is my favorite Disney princess.
The illustration was drawn, and coloured by hand, in three separate parts: the background (the ancient stones on the hill), the midground (Merida), and the foreground (the foliage), then I put them together in Photoshop.
Merida’s hair design was based on Celtic art, because I thought it would fit, and I love Celtic art.
Brave belongs to Disney & Pixar.
The Disney logo belongs to Disney.
The illustration belongs to me.

This is the illustrated poem page I created for the illustrated poem book, that was sold at our end of year show. It was also a project we had to do for our course, Graphic design Level 3 year 2. We got to choose a public domain poem of our choice, and had to create an illustrated page for it. I chose ‘Rain by Oliver Herford,’ because I love rain, and cats.
It’s a mix media piece that has a water colour painted background, and a inked foreground (the rain, kitten, and girl with umbrella), put together and edited in photoshop.

This poster is based on gender fluidity, which was a subject we were studying for my HND course year 1. The rainbow person represents the spectrum of gender possibilities. The pink and blue box they are sitting on represents the binary box of boy and girl that we are put in to, but the person is outside of that box like the saying ‘thinking outside the box’.
The outline was first drawn with pencil and inked with pen. I then edited and coloured it in Adobe Photoshop.

This is the full body of the old version of my avatar I created a while back. I plan to redraw this sometime, with her new design.
I first sketched her with pencil then created the final version on Adobe Illustrator.

This was for my Level 2 Graphic Design course for my Vannen Watch project. We had to make a watch design for the company Vannen, based on the new movie at the time “the greatest showman”.
I chose to base mine on the song “Rewrite the Stars”, as it was one of my favorites at the time, and it had one of my favorite characters singing it, Anne Wheeler.
I drew the line art by hand, then coloured and edited it in Photoshop.
The Vannen Logo belongs to Vannen.

This is a picture I created on Adobe Illustrator of my teddy cat Kitty, who I love, and cherish dearly.
I created this in college while doing the Level 3 Graphic Design course in year 1. The original picture was just line art for printing, but I liked the it so much that I decided to make it it’s own piece of art.
