i dunno but smt about elle not removing her glasses when she's going to prom makes me tear up a bit bc as a person that has to wear glasses and can't bear the idea of contact lenses I always hated the trope "she removes her glasses and now she's stunning". i wanna keep my glasses and i wanna feel pretty at the same time and elle shows us that that's possible and i know it's a small thing but now i'm emotional about it
