Adding onto this idea, Zuko is the oldest twin and remembers when he was burned and banished, but Jiro doesn’t (possible amnesia or something else) and Zuko doesn’t tell Jiro about their father because he doesn’t want him to remember all the pain Ozai put them through. The entire time they’re with Aang, Jiro begins learning the truth about the Fire Nation (while also experiencing flashbacks of his past life) and then finds out about Azula being their sister etc.

His vision blurred, trying to find any kind of signs of escape and where he was. “Where are we?” He muttered. Aang groaned. “I don’t know. I just remember falling into the portal, and then we blacked out-“ he frantically recalled. Zuko felt his heart beat faster, felt his anxiety rise even more as he tried to find anything that could answer his question.

“Your Highness”

Zuko automatically looked up to see a man…Jee? Someone who looked like Jee but way younger standing in front of him. “They’re awake” his eyes was looking at someone who wasn’t there. Zuko frowned, trying to see who he was looking at when he saw a figure walk to the center of the room they were in. A girl, maybe his age with long black crimped hair and short bangs with gold eyes and red lipstick and-

A scar. One just like his walked to the center, wearing a tight Fire Nation Uniform that showed off her figure. “Well, well…” she started. Zuko’s heart dropped. “Aang…remembered when you said there’s versions of us who are girls?”

“Yeah”

“I think I found mine”

She smiled a sinister smile, one Zuko used to use when he had still been banished. “My name is Princess Zelena…who are you?” She demanded.

Zuko gulped.

“Crap”
