I have been saying this FOR YEARS now. Movie adaptations have always lacked a spark that the book had to me and that’s because movies/shows are such a vastly different medium than film. Also with SONGS. So many stories, that would rock as songs fail miserably as novels

I firmly believe that some stories can never be translated into a different medium and that's okay

Been doing this in english and only English. Simply because i find it funny as hell because the class lacks the nuance Ive come to associate with literature and also the teacher hates it.
