Guys, seriously, what are we gonna do about Huening Kai
Having a super bad day and Magic came on while I was at the shop and I almost cried. It felt like a hug that I needed.
I finally own a Tomorrow by Together album! Can you guess which version of Tomorrow I went for? :3

I'm in this so deep, Ari you ate with this! Soobin not leaving your side and nursing you back to health 😭 Letting other team mates take his place on missions so he can stay with you, he'd probably internally feel like he's partly to blame for not protecting you, he's your partner and that's his job, he was right there and he "let this happen" 🤧 I’m imagining Taehyun is driving the getaway car after Soobin rushes you out of there hehe
Feeling guilty that you're thinking of the man who got you injured while Soobin is right there giving you all his attention, but you still can't get his face out of your mind – somehow he never seems to go full throttle during your showdowns, suspiciously never actually landing any hard blows – and wonder with a strange hope of your paths will cross again...
This post has convinced me this is the best concept for a love triangle! 💕 Thank you for sharing
Re: your agent concept
Imagine if the scenario was a love triangle, though... Torn between the partner who protects you and supplies comfort, knows you to a T, and the forbidden rival, who makes you feel a rush of excitement each time you see him
tw: extremely brief mention of a bullet wound
sorry this took forever to answer 😭
CEE YOUR BRAIN!! idk why I didn't even think love triangle but this concept is scrumptious
the partner you trained with, sparred with when you were young. the one you've known longer and better than maybe anyone else in the world. the one who knows you best- maybe even better than you know yourself. the one who you work with in tandem, like you're one person, your movements falling in perfect synchronization.
I feel like agent! soobin as your long time partner vs rival agent! yeonjun as the one who makes you pause, who makes your movements stutter, who is the reason you catch a stray when you never would've before.
soobin who nurses you back to health, who stays by your side while you recover. who doesn't let anyone else tend to you because he's your partner and this is his job. who cares so deeply even if he doesn't want to admit that maybe his care is a little more than partnered affection.
the guilt that weaves its way into your chest as you recover, soobin's large hand holding yours by your bedside, as your thoughts can't help but return the the beautiful man who you faced off with in the dark alley. can't help but remember the way the flickering streetlamp illuminated his features.
----
your first mission back is against the same enemy. soobin is held up with a team of agents and you take the opportunity to forge ahead, only to find yourself with the man from before, the one who hasn't left your head in months. his smirk when he recognizes you sends an unexpected flutter through your stomach. you shouldn't feel this way. shouldn't feel drawn to the enemy. but you find, mission after mission, that the brief encounters you have with him leave you wanting to know him the way you know your partner.
Boxer Bangchan, who just happens to have his debut on the same night one of your co-workers drags you to the match. You hated the idea of watching men pummel each other until one is declared winner in a dark room with cheap alcohol. Until you saw him step into the ring.
There was no explaining the shift in your mood toward the match the moment the smaller opponent stepped into the light, a wave of sniggers and presumptuous comments flooding through the crowd of spectators around you. Suddenly, the only appalling practice here was the discriminatory attitudes of the men around you, and it made you grit your teeth in unexpected frustration. Not knowing what had come over you, you hurried to the closest bet-taker and placed the ten dollar note in your pocket on the smaller man everyone else in the room had bet against.
Boxer Bangchan for whom you find yourself returning to that stuffy room for, pleased to see that after his first win, you're not the only one putting money on him. Surprising yourself entirely, you add each of his fights to your calendar and attend every one. You bet on him each time, regardless of how many times he's won or lost. His wins feel like yours somehow, showing all those who doubted him from the start how arrogant they are. The rush you feel when he stands with a grin on his sweaty face and chest heaving with exertion after each win is something you never thought you could feel when you first stepped through those doors.
Boxer Bangchan who hears of his first backer's loyalty and it only makes him practice harder, fight with more fervor to win and not let down his number one supporter. He might not know your name, but he's sure it's you; he's seen your face in the crowd at each of his matches since that first night, standing up front with a smile to match his pride in his victories and clapping politely but steadfastly for him in his losses. He can't help but think of you now as he wraps his hands in preparation for his final fight of the season, his heart picking up speed at the thought of your reaction if he wins, or if he loses.
Boxer Bangchan, whose eyes look across the room to meet yours with a triumphant smile as the referee raises his arm over his head and announces him the winner. The excitement and pride he sees there is well worth the hustle he puts in every day, makes this success even sweeter. He's quick to shower tonight, not taking his time to let the heat soothe his aches, and even quicker to towel off and change, his hair still damp in places. When he finds you've lingered at the bar longer than usual, his heartbeat evens out with relief, and he feels another high entirely as he walks up to introduce himself and buy you a drink.
