I honestly think Linhardt is half-nabatean.

I like to think at some point after the war Flayn showed Linhardt Nabatea since he always on about research the civilization would be a great place to learn, the people of Nabatea would appreciate his knowledge of the outside world and in return show him their knowledge.

Linhardt should be able to manipulate enemies or allies dreams/nightmares, going inside people dreams/nightmares like the sandman, or simply put them to sleep.

For example Dimitri could be having nightmares one of his nightmares and he just see Linhardt in the corner just watching him "Oh don't mind me pretend I'm not here"
