I reposted an awesome post from @mrfartpowered below, and I want to add a point about how Howard is portrayed as "dumb." This time, I decided to translate the text using GPT instead of the usual Google Translate, hoping it looks better. But anyway, I apologize for any mistakes.

SO. You know, when I was watching RC9GN in 2022, I wondered if Howard's stupidity looks too... fake? Caricatured? Especially since he's too smart when he needs to be.

And then I got to the episode about Howard the genius, where Randy suggested that Howard started getting smarter because on Saturdays his brain "isn't protected from knowledge" (I don't remember the exact quote). And then a theory was born. What if Howard is deliberately pretending to be an idiot? What if he's actually really smart, but consciously turns off his brain? What if he just doesn't want to study anything extra because he doesn't need to?

Maybe he was actually aiming (what the word) for the attitude towards him to be like "well, that's Howard, what do you expect from him?" Just so that nobody would demand anything from him. So that he could behave however he wanted and all of it would be attributed to his stupidity.

Howard asks Randy to do his homework for him, as he is a lazy idiot. His sister won't bother asking him for anything again - after all, he's an idiot. He spouts any nonsense that comes to mind - well, what do you expect from an idiot? He didn't do what he promised - but then, what did you expect from such an idiot?

After all, smart people are burdened with too many hopes and expectations, and Howard doesn't need that. He doesn't want to strain his brain unnecessarily, doesn't want to think or do anything extra. That's all. Howard really is good at playing the roles he needs, so why can't his stupidity be just as theatrical for his own benefit?

In short, I hope it didn't come out too jumbled and my idea is clear. I probably need to spend more time on this text, but if I don't write it right now, I'll forget it completely later, lol

Howard doesn’t know that Randy is the ninja until 30 seconds to math so his anger towards Randy always leaving is justified instead of stupid. They have some issues but it gets sorted out
