Another Age of Empires 3 fanart - this time, Amelia and Chayton.

Between the Definitive Edition and the original game, Chayton's storyline has three different possible endings. In the original, Amelia is still the narrator, and she said she never saw her son again. She describes he might have died in the massacre of Wounded Knee.

The thought of Amelia outliving her son was very painful, and I was inspired to make this drawing.

You can be against the ban and still not try to paint tiktok as something wonderful and helpful that the government is trying to stop because it "stops their propaganda" or whatever. The influence and popularity of that app is enshittifying every other platform because they're trying to emulate it. The prevalence of short form content is leading to rather obvious tendencies like the shortening of attention spans. Misinformation runs rampant in short video platforms and a vast majority of the audience doesn't care enough to check facts and sources. And since it's the attention economy, what rises to the top is complete garbage with shock value.

Not gonna stand here and deny there aren't good people and good things happening there but for fucks sake do not whitewash that hellhole.
