As the X-Men universe is a channel for discrimination, this specific earth number will center on disability—its ups, downs, advocacy, nuances, real research, and fictionalizations.

This place is a love letter and a protest to what I know as a disabled person. Disability is not all I am, but it can be a basis I use to view the world. Witness. Witness what you can do. Witness what you can’t. Do not separate the gene from the person. Do not separate the person from the soul.

Thinking back to a funny interaction I had working at Dollar Tree in Rapid City. They would let us play our music on a speaker. This Mexican guy walks up "You're the one who always plays the spanish canciones, right?" (His words not mine)

"Yes, but I don't speak it well" (Thinking he was gonna try to pull out his fluent motherland spanish)

"It's ok, I just need to know, are any of your canciones Christian?"

"No, no christian. Argentinian"(I think Fito Páez was playing at the time)

"Ah" he says, then walks off.

....I still don't know what that interaction was about lol

and looking back, my response was just funny. Like "No sir, no Christian songs, only sinful Argentinian ones😔"

Talking about the lore now, this is Poppy, sister to Mary from the earlier post. Mary and Poppy were gifted the abilities of Thanatos and Hypnos, with Poppy getting Hypnos's power.

She can trap people in her dream dimension.

About the Witness Universe:

This idea originally surfaced after I dreamed about an old X-Men: Evolution OC from 2017. The first words of this universe were typed out to a good friend on Discord on July 11th, 2023.

At first, I thought I could contain this much scope into an AO3 novel. It was to be about an original original earth, inspired by Marvel: Ruins, Wolverine & the X-Men, Agents of Shield, ZOO, and The Book of Eli. I’m aware my inspirations barely make sense, but a publisher will never see this and neither will Marvel.
