Poofy hair Dev is so important to me

I really want Dev to get a redesign for Season 2...

... and heres why:

First of all, I want to make it clear that I like Devs current design, but he's clearly a mini copy of his dad... I mean, just look at him:

I think Dev will be redeemed because he's just a little kid who's been screwed over again and again. And he clearly wants to be loved and accepted by the people around him. You can see that in multiple instances...

So my idea for Season 2 is that as he grows closer with Hazel, Cosmo, Wanda and Peri, he realizes he doesn't need to be like his father and he can be accepted for who he truly is. However finding yourself is hard for someone who always tried to be someone else all his life...

I want there to be a makeover episode where they all go to the mall or something, and he tries on a bunch of different outfits, but nothing really catches his eye. So he starts picking and choosing stuff he likes about his friends: Peris Mullet, Hazel's striped shirt, the way Cosmo wears his sunglasses, etc. And curly hair, just so he doesn't have the same Hairstyle as his dad (he had them in the original series, though).

It's a slow process but he starts to open up more and more. When Peri and him make up, he still wears him as headphones but instead of keeping them on his ears as another defense mechanism, he keeps them around his neck more as an accessory. (Also he got rid of the boots, because his dad clearly loves them more than his own son, so why keep them?)

He's still figuring out who he is, but it's a start.

And yes I based his shirt on Kris from Deltarune, because Hazel's shirt reminds me of Frisk and I thought it would be kinda funny.

I really wanted to make that prediction before the finale because either I'm right and he'll be redeemed, or my post will age horribly. Either way, I'm excited to see where things go. Anyway, I'm really excited to hear your guys' thoughts and opinions:D

I will definitiv draw more in the future:D

As far as I'm concerned, Hazel and Dev are still besties. Hazel cares deeply about her tiny angry bestie. Dev is part of the family. The finale can't hurt me now.

GUYS GUYS GUYS Look how little his hands are compared to hers! He is so itty bitty. My son.

Off topic from what I have been posting about the finale, but Cosmos sad little face while they're trapped and the way he's holding Peri just hurts me. That's his son and he is oh so worried.

I JUST LEARNED IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DALE AND THE PIXIES INSTEAD OF DEV AND THE ANTI-FAIRIES AND I FEEL THINGS

They way these two grown ass adults are looking at a TEN YEAR OLD with so much hatred and contempt. Please please please please please give us a season 2 where Dev gets an adult who really cares about him.
