Happy birthday to Edward Gorey
(one day late)

petra petra. more things would prob happen if you didn’t “wait the whole weekend for something to happen but nothing ever has” and like. made plans. idk maybe that’d help.
do you ever get the feeling that life is moving too slowly and you’re waiting for something to happen but nothing is and why are you anxious, nothing’s going on? i just need to do something, i need to get out of this town and go somewhere- new york or london or paris or germany or italy or anywhere, but alas i have no money and am only fifteen and can’t go anywhere on my own anyway, and the time when i can is never going to get here and i have been waiting the whole weekend for something to happen but nothing ever has.
someone take me somewhere. take me to see hamilton on broadway or take me to france to see les mis in the language it was written in, even though i won’t understand any of the words or take me to italy so i can eat their gelato and their pasta or take me to germany, i just want to do something. i just want to go somewhere.
oh gosh that’s beautiful

who gave neutral milk hotel the right to punch my right in the feels every damn time ??? not allowed

The best movies are relatable and aspirational at the same time (extra points if they include fight sequences on the rooftops of Paris)
