Ever since “The Day The Tumblr Died,” I’ve been hitting the ugh-worthy safe mode page on some blogs.

Clicking the “Go to my dashboard” of course, takes you back to your dashboard. But, we want to see that blog, not our dashboards.

Turns out, you can still see the blog by typing in:

https://www.tumblr.com/dashboard/blog/[blog Name]

Click the “View this Tumblr” allows you to see it as a sidebar. (Perhaps this what they intended to happen when you click the link?) If you figure out how to view the blog’s archive, please let me know.

I visited a beautiful tropical beach on a whim today. I was sitting in my cube and pulled it up on Google Maps. Then I had to return to emails and go to a meeting.
