It inspires me people

But what I see too much with art,

Is when people expect artists to draw something for them, or when people bash artists for asking for money or pointing towards their commissions, or when people bash artists for saying they don’t take requests

I am a teen, I know little about the world and I’m not going to pretend I know everything, but please

Don’t be an asshole to artists

Don’t claim a right to free art from an artist who does their work for a living

Do not threaten an artist because they won’t draw your kinks, or won’t give you free art

You have no right

It is their art

Their work

Their time

Their talent

And not yours

So the next time you think you’re being insulted by an artist who very politely pointed towards their commissions

Take a good long think session

And think about how you would feel in their shoes
